Can Technology Read Minds?

The ability to read minds is becoming a neurotechnological fact!

Besides a “60 Minutes” report on Carnegie-Mellon’s “neural decoding” project, there’s already toys which detect brain waves, and NeuroSky is designing brain-reading headsets for several industries. Researchers are now able to determine what vowel and consonants a person is thinking of by recording activity from the surface of the brain (with up to 70% accuracy), and this system could someday be used to read the thoughts of the paralyzed.

And the goverment is even financing projects to build intelligent artificial limbs controlled by your nervous system.
