‘Family Guy’ Actress with Down Syndrome Tells Sarah Palin to Lighten Up

    They ARE 'heartless jerks' who will take advantage of the actress to make the joke the jabs Sarah and Trig

    Or you could admit the possibility that the actress was well-paid and well-loved by the cast and crew of the show, had a good time at her job, loves her life, and isn't defined by her Downs Syndrome, and that the person “using” the disease, and her own child as a political football is the Palin.

    any politician who uses their family in a campaign puts them in the line of fire,
    then they are no different than voting record and personal conduct.

    This actress is an adult, who has had time to find herself and realize who she is. Trig is a child, and should not grow up thinking people are going to tease him and pick on him because he is different. When I was younger, and kids picked on me for how I was, it was very painful. I was able to “grow out” of the things I was picked on for. Trig is never going to “grow out” of down syndrome. It's never going away. He has to learn to live with it, in a positive way. How can we push no tolerance for bullying in our schools, but allow things like this to happen? So what if she “used” her kids for political gain. We should still be adults about the situation, and have some respect.

      with a name like trig he's gonna get made fun of.
      children are monsters, he will get made fun of, fact of life,
      too bad he has a mother that uses him for a prop, his tough luck, got dealt a bad hand,
      that is no reason to give a politician a free pass on anything, you want power over people you have to take your lumps.

      “So what if she “used” her kids for political gain.” Do you even read what you type before you post? I would be suprised if anyone ever stoppped picking on you. You sound like you bring it on yourself.

        Now we're trying to justify why it is okay to tease children? No child brings teasing and harassment onto themselves. Children become a product of their environment. It makes me sad to see adults with the same maturity level as school children. We're supposed to be the ones setting examples for our children. Not teaching them that it's okay to pick on people who aren't the same as you. Grow up, all of you.

    So, it's his tough luck because he was born to a politician? So, should we say that about children who get molested by their parents? Well, that must be their tough luck they were born to pedophiles. Anyone with half a heart doesn't pick on people for things they have no control over. Children are not monsters, and at one point, we were all children. If you decided to become a monster later on, that's your choice. Leave the kids alone. I don't care if you have a problem with Palin, but leave her kid alone. He isn't old enough to be tainted by society like the rest of you.
