And that would be why Ron Paul is the only Republican that I like.

which is why he will be attacked soon as the election gets closer,
he'll be called a RINO, one of the “blame america” evil friends of terrorists, it's so predictable you can writhe the script now. if he isn't a Giuliani style fake tough guy or a down home evangelist he wont get near a nomination.

thanks for the insight, keep up the good work.
But in all seriousness, you're comments (not this particular one as much as others) demonstrate a myopic perspective and have often been condescending. It's okay to not be constructive in your criticism as long as you're truthful, but to throw out a few sarcastic and snide remarks is childish.
If you aren't already, you may benefit from interacting in the flesh with some Ron Paul supporters and members of the liberty movement (try meetup.com); you'll find some pro-active and realistic people.
which would be okay if they were c

i'm not attacking ron paul or his supporters in any way,
only the system, if you are realistic you will know someone who isn't a 10 second sound bit caricature
wont see a real nomination, and is much as i like the smaller parties until the 2 party game is destroyed
the independent parties are little more than a joke all the grass roots organizing won't change that as long as the tribal us vs. them mindset of american voter drones remains. taking part in the current political process does nothing but give it a thin veneer of legitimacy…..but do enjoy yourself

..sometimes the right thing to say is not the popular thing to say, that is what a leader does. Alas but sometimes we forget the real United States; in that what we were founded on is freedom of speech. So if you can persuade enough to follow you, that is what your platform is…

I like Ron Paul, but he worries me at the same time. I will be able to put my finger on it soon enough. Maybe it has to do with his association with Alex Jones. I don't know.

      I like him too,
but unless he abandons everything that makes him different he won't see a presidential nomination.

Maybe he could pull an Obama. Ya know, act like a good man, then shit on everybodies expectations when he's elected….

Where was he for the last 10 years? Nothing has changed except maybe that the current people aren’t quite as good at lying as the last group of people. A brave person stands up for truth even if no one else is; even a coward can stand up when everyone else is.
