Woman’s Growth of a 6 centimeter Horn on Forehead Baffles Village

Woman Grows HornMSN reports:

A woman has alarmed her small village in China after growing a 6cm horn on her forehead in less than a year.

Zhang Ruifang, 101, says she is also concerned about the appearance of a second mark on the other side of her forehead.

“We didn’t pay too much attention to it [at first] … but as time went on a horn grew out of her head,” said Mrs Zhang’s son Zhang Guozheng.

What it is, is sad. The woman has clearly developed an aggressive and potentially cancerous cyst on her forehead, yet apparently doesn't have access to the medical care needed to remove it. Poor dear…

It might also be an infection from any one of the numerous chemicals that are literally poisoning the Chinese countryside from industrial operations and their resulting waste. There are places in china where computer components are broken down by peasants by hand, where when you walk into the area, you literally can't breathe from the toxins in the air.

Seriously. Hope she can get some sort of help somehow.

“doesn't have access to medical care”, I'm sure she does. That's China, not the US. And it sounds like you are generalizing a bit, don't you think?

Kind of interesting how it looks like an actual horn (on the forehead). And she's pretty up there age-wise…

At least it's not as hardcore as the “Tree Man.”
