World’s Lights Go Out For Earth Hour On March 27

For those of you who still believe in doing good things for the Earth (don’t worry, I know we have a lot of readers who are climate change skeptics and we will continue to post stories more to your liking), Earth Hour takes place this Saturday, March 27 at 8:30 PM. Here’s the official rationale:

On Earth Hour hundreds of millions of people around the world will come together to call for action on climate change by doing something quite simple—turning off their lights for one hour. The movement symbolizes that by working together, each of us can make a positive impact in this fight, protecting our future and that of future generations.

  1. I resent the “Climate Change Sceptic” comment lol.. Who would be dumb enough to doubt the climate is changing?

However.. For those of us who dislike the facts that science is being manipulated and fed to us as the truth for Corporate and political gains on top of the obvious environmental benefits.. Keep bringing us the other stories..

Stories about helping the environment are just sooooooo boring lol

  2. This is almost as laughable, pointless and blatantly ineffective as the facebook “awareness groups” I see. The article should be titled, “World Saves Minuscule Amount On Electric Bill And It Feels Good”
