Migraine Leaves British Woman Speaking with Chinese Accent (Video)

Weird. Never heard of Foreign Accent Syndrome before. Via the Telegraph:

A British woman who suffers chronic migraines was struck by such a severe headache it left her talking in a Chinese accent. Sarah Colwill used to speak with a broad West Country accent. She is thought to have sustained brain damage during her last migraine which left her with Foreign Accent Syndrome (FAS) — an extremely rare condition which causes speech to change.

  1. That's unbelievable but its true. Remember what happened to the disciples when they spoke different languages all at the same time. Indeed, it is possible.

That's shocking news for me. But if you are suffering from severe headache over a period of time then you must take Imitrex tablet. This medication is used to treat migraine headache attacks once they occur. This medication is not to be used for other types of headaches. One dose is taken by mouth at the first signs of a migraine attack.

  5. oh my God…how come??? Something about ghost or what?
But i do heard such stories before or ever watched it in the TV. For example, someone can speak only Japanese, but one day after he/she woke up, he/she speaks fluent English suddenly…amazing
