The New U.S. $100 Bill

It’s both amusing and exasperating to see such great effort to bolster the authenticity of our currency. Especially knowing it holds no “real” value to begin with. Here’s what has to say about it:

Officials from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Federal Reserve Board and the United States Secret Service today unveiled the new design for the $100 note. Complete with advanced technology to combat counterfeiting, the new design for the $100 note retains the traditional look of U.S. currency.

“As with previous U.S. currency redesigns, this note incorporates the best technology available to ensure we’re staying ahead of counterfeiters,” said Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner.

“When the new design $100 note is issued in TBD, the approximately 6.5 billion old design $100s already in circulation will remain legal tender,” said Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board Ben S. Bernanke. “U.S. currency users should know they will not have to trade in their old design notes when the new notes begin circulating.”

The redesigned $100 note includes two new advanced counterfeit-deterrent security features, in addition to effective security features from the previous design. The features are easy for consumers and merchants to check when verifying authenticity.

The blue 3-D Security Ribbon on the front of the new $100 note contains images of bells and 100s that move and change from one to the other as you tilt the note. The Bell in the Inkwell on the front of the note is another new security feature. The bell changes color from copper to green when the note is tilted, an effect that makes it seem to appear and disappear within the copper inkwell.

    Pimp my Franklin.

Seriously, the only entity with a license to print money is the Department of the Treasury. Posers with their $1000 laser printers can't be shitting up the pool with their own bucks, too.

    • It is the Federal Reserve, not the treasury that prints the money.
They lend it to the Treasury for a FEE, they also charge you for the NOTE.

The Kicker..there is NO MONEY, Just DEBT!

      END IT!

It is all just some big conspiracy concocted by the New World Order and the UN. Barack Obama is trying to enslave us all with the cameras implanted in the eye on the $1 bill. All of the colors are only going to serve to blind us to the fact that we are being raped unmercifully and there is nothing we can do about it. I really don't know what Hulk Hogan has to do with the production of money in this country, but it does go a long way to explaining why Jesse Ventura doesn't like the NWO – Hogan stole his gimmick.

  4. Is it still paper… or have they got with the program and made it like the AUS Notes, i.e Plastic?

We can put ours through the wash and it comes out cleaner… real money laundering.

when do we reach the point when the cost to produce a dollar is greater than the value of a dollar.

  6. The Federal Reserve wants to stop counterfeiters… hahaha. They should shut themselves down and give up the game now. Money holds no value and will be worthless as soon as our economy finally crashes. I think I will use the new bills for tp.
