Uncover ‘Hidden Wisdom’ With Tim Wallace-Murphy

NewtonWilliamBlakeBelow is the first five chapters of Tim Wallace-Murphy’s new book Hidden Wisdom: The Secrets of the Western Esoteric Tradition available on Scribd. Here’s a quick bit about the book:

From Egyptian mythology to Jewish mysticism, Rome and Greece to the Druids and the Gnostics, Tim Wallace-Murphy exposes a fascinating lineage of hidden mysteries and secret societies, continuing through the Templars, Rosicrucians and Freemasons to our modern visionaries. This hidden stream of spirituality and that of sacred knowledge are inseparably entwined to form the single most important continuous strand in the entire Western esoteric tradition.

This tradition exerted a seminal influence on the thinking of the builders of the great cathedrals, leading teachers in ecclesiastical schools, on philosophers, playwrights and poets such as Shakespeare, Goethe, Blake and W. B. Yeats, on artists and renaissance giants such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. It is also the root from which sprang alchemy and modern science.

Now, as more people than ever are looking to find alternatives to the dominant religions and dogmas that have told us what to think and how to behave, as faith has been questioned by religious scandals, economic meltdowns and environmental catastrophes, Wallace-Murphy reveals the secrets of the masters, including invaluable spiritual insights to everyday life that have been hidden throughout the ages. He shows us who kept this spiritual tradition alive despite appalling persecution, so that we in the 21st century might benefit from its accumulated fruits and ennoble our lives by emulating their example.

I really wish people would stop advertising their facebook pages. What are these people getting out of it, more fans than someone else's page? This is highly irresponsible to our society as a whole. We have plenty of better things with which to waste our time.

    • Tony, sorry did not make more clear, this is a book newly published by The Disinformation Company and the links are event listings for the author's appearances in NYC.

Have to find a way to keep the lights on, and Disinfo does that mostly with books and DVDs.

I am sharing my frostration regarding the oil spill in the goalf mainly concern with environmental disaster.
I am not engineer but from the beginning, my common sense was not accepting the plans 1 an 2 and I am sorry it didn’t work . Also I am not quite sure regarding the plan 3 ,since the approach again is against the strong oil flow from the stem pipe.
Why they don’t try to approach from the surrounding the oil exit pipe ? and bring it to control from the periphral rother than the top by making two semicircolar collar from steel or concrete mounting with a valve to shut the flow off gradally after securing the coolar around the flow pipe. Just 2 cent idea !!. Thanks.
