Colorado Man’s Rambo-Style Mission To Kill Osama Fails

A middle-aged-dad-type from Colorado was arrested in the mountains of Pakistan, where, armed with a sword, pistol and night-vision goggles, he was on a solo go-for-broke mission to find and kill Osama bin Laden. Amazingly, he made it pretty far, reaching the isolated region where Osama is rumored to be hiding. Las Vegas Sun reports:

“A lot of kids grow up and say, `I want to be Rambo,’ you know? Well, he is,” said Gary Faulkner’s brother, Scott, 43.

“He’s as normal as you and I,” Scott Faulkner said. “He’s just very passionate, and, as a Christian, he felt, when Osama mocked this country after 9/11, and it didn’t feel like the military was doing enough, it became his passion, his mission, to track down Osama, and kill him, or bring him back alive.”

Scott Faulkner said his brother sold all his tools to finance his trip and was prepared to die in Pakistan. He also said his brother took no weapons and had a valid visa for Pakistan. Scott Faulkner hoped his brother wouldn’t be charged with a crime.

Gary Faulkner arrived June 3 in the town of Bumburate and stayed in a hotel there. The Greeley, Colo., man was assigned a police guard, as is common for foreigners visiting remote parts of Pakistan.

When he checked out without informing police, officers began looking for him, according to the top police officer in the Chitral region, Mumtaz Ahmad Khan. Faulkner was found late Sunday in a forest.

“We initially laughed when he told us that he wanted to kill Osama bin Laden,” Khan said. But when officers seized the weapons and night-vision equipment, “our suspicion grew.” He said the American was trying to cross into the nearby Afghan region of Nuristan.

By the way, tell this punk about Real Christians, like William Cooper who predicted that Osama would be used as the scapegoat for attacking Manhattan, and he predicted this on June 28,2001 almost three months before it actually happened !! 9/11 was a fraud but even if it wasn't and the country really was trying to find Osama, why did they stop him? One citizen willing to die for a cause after two wars one being the longest in our nation's history were supposedly started over Osama and we stop people trying to find him of their own free will. Just goes to show you they don't want to find him and don't want us to either.

  If he really wanted to kill the person responsible for 9/11, he should have tried to kill George Bush. Osama had nothing to do with it. Haven't you read the article on this sight which talked about CIA agents dressing up like Osama and making the videos. I use to work in building 1 of the World Trade Center, lost friends, and had to relocate to another state to get work. It is a fact that Osama Bin-Laden was trained by George Bush sr. when he was the CIA Director, The Bin-Laden family funded George W Bush oil company, and George W. Bush brother was the head of security for the world trade centers when 9/11 occured. What makes you think the US Military and the CIA couldn't find Osama if they really wanted to.

People like this are exactly what's wrong with this country. Passion and courage with absolutely no discernment. Bid Laden isn't even wanted by the FBI in connection with 9-11. Why? No evidence he had anything to do with it. No evidence Saddam had anything to do with it. No evidence the Taliban had anything to do with it. I’m sure he meant well, but it’s too bad he didn’t do a little research before setting out on his mission. First of all, he would have learned that Osama is most likely a patsy, not the “mastermind” of 9/11. Simply looking up the reason why 9/11 isn’t even mentioned on the FBI’s Most Wanted profile on Osama would have given him a clue.
There’s also been scattered reports that Osama is already dead. Even if he did manage to kill him, does he seriously believe the U.S. government would let the world know that their favorite boogeyman distraction, their greatest excuse to loot the trillion dollar treasure under Afghanistan has been eliminated?
