Ron Paul And Sarah Palin Discuss Legalization Of Marijuana

Judge Andrew Napolitano on the debut of Freedom Watch on the Fox Business Network discusses the similarities/differences between the social conservatives (Palin) and the constitutional libertarians (Paul) within the Tea Party/Freedom Movement. They discuss marijuana laws at about 6:28 minutes in. Perhaps not what you’d expect from Palin.

regarding the legalization of marijuana – caregivers are already taking advantage of the new law. offering to pay for registration fees (for the mj card) of people who are not in need of of “medical marijuana” so that they will be allowed to grow more plant$ (making roughly $60K to $80K annually – so they say). furthermore, the police are still raiding dispensaries and houses of those who are licensed to grow and/or smoke – even the sick and elderly.
regarding your privacy and the government – don’t register for a medical marijuana card if you can avoid it.

It's too late for the 'just say no' crowd at this point. M.m. is clearly a bridge to legalization. I have my card and only got it recently. I was truly surprised about the culture that's grown up around m.m. It's like a secret legal world and from what I can see of it, it's not going anywhere. Even if marijuana isn't voted in to be a legalized and taxed product, it feels like the scales have clearly tipped to this side of the fence. It feels like just a matter of time. The scientific evidence contradicts all the fear based arguments and support for legalization is much more. As always, we'll have to wait and see.

i’m not part of the “just say no” crowd; i’m part of the “just be careful” crowd. i find the culture around medical marijuana to be annoying (daily) and boring, but, you just got your card. perhaps you actually needed it – i don’t know.

“It's like a secret legal world and from what I can see of it, it's not going anywhere.”

are you sure that’s a good thing?

The people that hate pot and use pot to control others are not going anywhere. Just as secret societies control you, your best defence is secrecy and then the legal defences. Curious that just about all wars today are labeled drug wars. I guess domination needs the cleansing balm of morality.
