It’s not often that I find myself agreeing with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but on 9/11 I think he’s right — we haven’t been told the full story of what happened on September 11, 2001. From AFP via Breitbart.com:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has questioned the accepted narrative of the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States, saying it was still not clear who was behind them.
“Something happened in New York and still nobody knows who the main perpetrators of that act were,” Ahmadinejad told diplomats and newspaper editors late on Sunday while on a brief visit to Qatar.

“No independent people were allowed to try and identify the perpetrators,” he charged.

“They say terrorists were hidden in Afganistan and NATO mobilised all its resources and attacked Afghanistan,” he said.

“They say that in the Twin Towers, 2,000 people were killed. In Afganistan, so far more 110,000 have been killed.”

Ahmadinejad has on several occasions questioned the accepted version of the 2001 attacks by Al-Qaeda militants, which killed nearly 3,000 people in the United States.

In March, he referred to the attacks as “a big lie,” Iranian state media reported…

He doesn’t think we know the real story of the Holocaust, either.

He’s also certain that homosexuality doesn’t exist inside the geographical borders of Iran. Quite the rocket scientist, that Ahmadinejad.

      • Vox Penii

Everyone knows that homosexuality is a perversion caused by decadent, bourgeois Euro-Christian culture.

        Duh…

        • Gemmarama

try tellin that to the ancient greeks.

Objective reality is a Zionist plot!

Sorry guys, but I have to agree with Majestic on this one… He doesn’t say anything wrong… there has never been an independant investigation and there is no evidence that Osama was behind it (the FBI itself says so).

Of course he is a maniac an lunatic, but that doesn’t mean everything he sais is wrong…

    • Aghhhh

Yeah, now Castro and Ahmadinejad both say this. The one thing on their side is that they know from experience Americas foreign policies. Remember “Operation Northwoods” and also all of the iran “Color Revolutions”…. Deeply intertwined with american intelligence agencies…

Enemies of the American government are eager to assign blame to the American government? Go figure.

I don’t feel that the government is telling the truth about 9/11. It seems that the disaster has been used for profit. First we attack Afghanistan and then attack Iraq based on WMD’s which didn’t exist. Common sense dictates that if Iraq had WMD’s as insisted by the Bush Administration they would have used them during the pre-military build up to attack Iraq by the United States. This proves in my opinion that Iraq had no WMD’s. If they did they would have used them prior to being invaded or during the invasion.
I feel the government isn’t forthcoming to the American people also because once no WMD’S were found the story changed into one of liberation for the Iraqi people. Thirdly and most important of all is the fact that we’re pulling out of Iraq and the people there are in worst shape than before our invasion of a soverign government under the Bush Doctrine in which he will eventually be tried and jailed for. Not to mention the death toll of Iraqi citizens. There is no such thing as a foreign government fighting for the freedoms of another country, never has been!
After blacks suffered 300 years of slavery. murder, and rape not to mention institutional racism the last thing I want thrown in my face is a 6 year halocaust.

There’s no question that the go’vt exploited the hell out of 9/11 to justify all sorts of chicanery, but it doesn’t follow from that that they were behind it. Any time a major event takes place, someone inevitably gains something from it, or finds a way to do so.

“After blacks suffered 300 years of slavery. murder, and rape not to mention institutional racism the last thing I want thrown in my face is a 6 year halocaust.”

If you’d personally suffered anything on the order of either slavery or genocide, you’d have the good taste and moral perspective not to try and turn it into a contest.
