Way too hot for Elmo! The producers have yanked the segment from classic kids TV show Sesame Street and it’s rapidly disappearing from YouTube too. Check it out while you can 😉

a talentless “singer” whose career is based on her rack was banned from an iconic children’s show?

    shocking…

  2. What on earth is wrong with these people?

One must have a truly perverted mind to see anything wrong with this Video.

But then this no doubts comes from the same kind of people who claimed “Tinky Winky was gay” – as if there is something wrong with being Gay.

    • My ex-GF wore more revealing outfits to a Catholic church, all the time!

Perhaps it was banned because the autotune gave 8 out of 10 toddlers seizures. Certainly had that effect on me.

What the hell did they ban it for? It teaches up, down, around….. totally innocent. Whoever banned it is a moron.

hahah i think it’s hilarious. good for her that she’s a female singer actually doing something aside from trying to be sexy all the time. not an especially thought provoking segment but amusing

I must be missing something here. I didn’t see anything provocative or unseemly that would prevent it from being shown to young kids.

    • The first 20 seconds she walks in and is all about playing dressup then being all “touch me.” It could sound like she’s insinuating “playing doctor”, but heck if I know.

    • Are you kidding? What is this, Afghanistan? Women can’t show shoulder now? Gimme a frickin’ break.

      • Shoulder– sure. A cocktail dress– well, in other context sure, but on a show aimed at 3-5 year olds? I’d say no.

  28. I’m pretty sure that Sesame Street’s pre-pubescent audience would have been safely oblivious to any sexual messages in this clip.

  30. honestly, if someone is young enough to be watching sesame street, they’re too young to care how revealing a dress is.

  32. jiggle jiggle jiggle… these kids got off of breast feeding a few years ago so why would it matter if she’s showing some skin. Her music is awful so I support banning this clip for exposing kids to this horrible music. And will she please just show everyone her tits already and get it over with. Guys just want to see them

  34. OMG When did we stop raising children? Let’s just put them in suspended animation until they’re 21 and have done with it. Or better yet, as Bill Hicks put it, “stop rutting until we figure out that whole food/air thing.”

Let me get this straight. A child who only 5-6 years ago was probably being breast-fed now has to be protected from breasts?

Well, let me say something here, I am goddamn tired of all these monster perverts running around without any pants on. I say boycott Sesame Street, Porky Pig and Donald Duck right now or we’re all gonna turn into pinko commie hippies.

    fiat lux

  36. Hot how? Totally agree on supporting the ban cause of autotune use and crappy music in general, but other wise i thought it was kinda cute…its Elmo ffs.

I am glad they didn’t show this. For one, little kids don’t know who the hell she is. Two, you don’t dress like a playboy bunny on crack for Sesame Street. And most important of all, she looks like a retard and we have enough of that on other shows. Kids aren’t stupid.

  46. My question is: how the hell didn’t Sesame Street not control What Katy Perry put on before the shoot? Surely they could have had her put on something more to their liking.

seriously that is close to a modern prom dress..if your not fixating on her chest you would not find it inappropriate. People need to stop sexualizing everything.

  50. I’m glad I saw this. First off I don’t care for the cut of her jib, further more I don’t find anything wrong with her outfit. She looks silly and plastic. If by some mircle of gods or man I did not know who she was, I would assume that sesame street was still hiring the same drugged up weirdos they staffed the show with when I was a kid.

    Oh God! What was so damned bad about that? They cut this but they allowed shock rock god Alice Cooper to be on the show back in the 70’s at the height of the controversy surrounding him and his sexually fueled and goresoaked shock rock/metal! {Which is good, IMO as a fan mysefl}
Give me a break puritan inconsistent hypocrites!

  54. So what the hell is wrong with that? I don’t get it.

Must we always attack the lessor of the evils in this country? That’s a great song! If you want to hunt down evil, go to Washington D.C. You’ll have a non-stop monster hunt there. Really!

Okay, so I’ve watched this and other that the fact that she’s wearing a dress that compliments her cleavage (she has breasts, so what?). What is supposed to be wrong with this. I thought it was pretty cute, actually. We all need to just lighten up.

  59. It is highly amusing that the country that is one of the top producers of porn is also one of the most uptight about nudity and sexuality.

I just can’t seem to understand what the big deal is.
What she’s wearing is not unlike a common party dress.
Better not take your kid to a wedding, there might be cocktail dresses there!
…And hasn’t Sesame Street always preached tolerance?
The world is filled with things we’d rather not have our kids exposed to, but like it or not they aren’t going away.
Rather than reacting with anger and intolerance why not use such instances as teaching opportunities.
Unless, of course, you’re using your tv as a babysitter. In which case you might want to find a better babysitter.

  66. I don’t believe in censorship, no matter how it’s framed, but I grew up with Sesame Street, and this seems very far off message. What were they thinking? Does a jilted-heart song ever belong on a children’s educational show?

  70. Unbelievable! If they pulled this segment because of it’s sexuality they are realy depraved. Even by the US standards it would be considered “mild suggestive humor” and assigned a rating of PG13, at worst.
