New York’s ‘Rent is Too Damn High’ Party Official Statement (Video)

Fresh from the recent New York State gubernatorial debate, Jimmy McMillan of the Rent is Too Damn High Party speaks the truth.

    This guy is ridiculous and a media-whore, like Sheriff Joe in AZ, or any “reality” TV star. He criticizes the situation, but offers no solutions. Ironically, NY rent is probably way too high, but NY has the tightest rent control in the U.S.. So if his solution is for government to limit rental costs, that is already being ried and is an abject failure.

    He needs to add the “Pants on the ground” guy from American Idol to his party. They deserve each other.

      30 seconds FOOL, what solutions can you provide in 30 seconds. That’s the real problem, the rich and greedy pay for hours of airtime for their puppets and those that give their time free to help the poor get 30 bloody seconds, and right wing tools complain that they only hear problems and not full and clearly defined and detailed solutions. Yeah, we know that game.
      The reality is, if the minimum wage does not cover all the necessities of life including accommodation, food, clothing, transport, medical and some reasonable leisure activities then the minimum wage is too damned low, the rent is too damned high and, medical expense are extortion.

    First things first Richard, I have no idea who the guy is but based on what came out his mouth it sounds more like you are upset with his looks and southern draw. Whats wrong with wanting to put money in peoples pokets food on their table and make rent better? Oh i guess the comment about putting food in a poor needy childrens stomach was a media whore tatic?
