Rand Paul Backer Stomps on Woman Outside Kentucky Senate Debate

Don’t say you weren’t warned about these people.  From Tom Diemer at AOL’s Politics Daily:

A Rand Paul supporter stomped on the head of a MoveOn.org volunteer Monday night outside of a debate between the Kentucky Senate candidate and his opponent, Jack Conway.

The woman, identified by CNN as Lauren Valle, was pushed to the ground — her blond wig was pulled off in the scuffle — and then held down. One man shouted for the police, but another stepped on Valle’s shoulder and then stomped down, his foot hitting her head. He backed off when someone else told him to stop. Valle stayed on the ground, motionless.

“These supporters were not very nice to me and my message, which is the same as everyone else. I just wanted to get out here with a sign, but I got my head stepped on,” Valle told Louisville’s Fox41. “I have a bit of a headache.”

It was not immediately clear whether anyone would be charged in the incident. There was no sign either candidate — Paul is the Republican nominee; Conway, the Democrat — witnessed the scuffle. Paul’s campaign called the incident “incredibly unfortunate” and said “violence of any kind has no place in our civil discourse and we urge supporters on all sides to be civil to one another.”…

To be clear four men were involved in the escalating assault, where the offence was a sign that did not agree with their point of view. Also note the breast and groin grope by the other Rand supporter.

      Funny the news did not run with the story of the Conway supporters attacking the Rand Paul supporter at the same event… the Conway supporters actually drew blood from the Rand Paul supporter…. but none of this actually has anything 2 do with the candidates.

    This video certainly reinforces the importance of getting out the anti-Right Wing vote next week.

    But on a personal level, in addition to the disappointment in the barbaric behaviour of the men in the video and their apologists within these comments, this kind of sets back a novella project I’d been working on.

    I’d hit on a great premise to parody the religious, economic and environmental outlook of the Right Wing. The world’s population hits 7 billion and Heaven is in a quandry. Traditional Kabbalism holds that the human soul is comprised of three elements–instinct, emotion, and intellect, but they have a production bottleneck in the supply of intellect and emotion because God’s busy creating/ruling over the other 44 million universes implied by the recent discovery of String Theory.

    But one “genius” angel, Maloney (better known in LDS circles as “Moroni”) has an innovative idea: Stretch supplies of existing intellect and emotion by adulterating human souls with corresponding bits of animal souls–the same way shitty regulation and accounting standards have allowed shoddy “innovation” in the financial markets while simultaneously explaining the massive die off of animal species and generally animalistic behaviour of Right Wingers.

    But as I said, this news reveals a problem–seems that reality has trumped art again by revealing the Tea Bagger as the lowest form of life.
