  1. Beating religious nut Jack “Aqua Buddha” Conway, is like beating Christine “I’m not a witch, I’m a born again virgin” O’Donnell. It’s not that hard.

    • Ummm …you do know that “Aqua Buddha” was Rand Paul’s miscarraige, right? It was a stunt of his in college…which is all it was…but it it tells you something about how f*cked up and weird Mr. Paul got during college…although I approve of his being skeptical about the seriousness of religion.

Jack Conway, the Democratic opponent, only ran a failed ad mentioning Rand Paul’s weirdness and apparent anti-religious stance during college. The nut was Rand paul…and he just won (although he was practically the only Tea Party hero who did.)

it should be fun to see what tea party folk do when they aren’t just the screaming opposition and actually have to get results for the mob

Doesn’t matter guy, their whole mindset is that they’re “victims” of a liberal conspiracy to let fags and blacks and immigrants run all over the real America that has been lost to the aforementioned undesirables. Even if they get totally in power, they’ll be fighting a victim’s fight against these entrenched liberal forces that have kept them down and disenfranchised for so long.

Congratulations — you now share ownership of the nation’s problems. Do nothing but prevent the federal government from passing any legislation for the next two years and see how that works out for you.

  6. Stop whining and accept the fact that the Democrats have accomplished nothing and people are desperately looking for a change. Yes, the Tea Party was taken over by the Republicans and have turned into crap but lets not forget who inspired the Tea Party. Ron Paul is one of a small handful of legislators that have voted against the wars consistently, better than 99% of the Democrats.

Holy god he is a terrible public speaker. “Government is best that governs least” is actually not found in any of Jefferson’s writing, I believe, although I’m sure its unreasonable to expect him to know that, and adding “likewise, freedom is best when enjoyed by the most” is probably the dumbest thing I’ve heard someone say on television for quite some time. And my roommate watches Jersey Shore.

Conway must have been a huge fuck up to lose to this guy.
