Ted Rall on the Dylan Ratigan Show: Is It Time for a Revolution?

Sharron Angle isn’t the only one talking about Second Amendment remedies. Ted Rall, author of The Anti-American Manifesto, appeared on MSNBC’s The Dylan Ratigan Show on Monday to talk about the need for radical change in order to turn the United States around. He said, “In The Anti-American Manifesto, I argue that violence is a last case scenario…. In terms of passive resistance, “the American left has been very peaceful since the early ’70s, since the Kent State shootings, and where has it gotten us?”

I’m new to Dylan Ratigan but I’m thinking that he is the only talking head making sense these days.

We want the least destructive revolution possible. One we can go home and watch ourselves on TV afterwards. Maybe someone will make a really cool PC or X-Box game out of it all…

    >the American left has been very peaceful since the early ’60s and where has it gotten us?

What a farking joke. The American left has been very peaceful since the early 1960s, as long as you omit the following violent leftist groups:
    *the Weather Underground
    *the American Indian Movement
    *the United Freedom Front
    *the Black Panthers
    *the White Panthers
    *the Gay Liberation Front
    *the Animal Liberation Front
    *Up Against the Wall Motherfuckers
    *the Brown Berets
    *the Kasama Project
    *Symbionese Liberation Army
*the Students for a Democratic Society
*in fact, most of the violent terrorist/activist/revolutionary groups worldwide from the 1960s -’80s were generally leftists, if not explicitly Marxist (see Hicks’s 2004 book “Explaining Postmoderism: Skepticism and Socialism from Rousseau to Foucalt”)

Looks as if Rall and Ratigan both need to devote the weekend to reading “In Denial: Historians, Communism and Espionage” by Haynes and Klehr > http://www.amazon.com/Denial-Historians-Communism-Espionage/dp/1893554724 <

On one arm, you have your left hand and on the other your right hand. Use your your right hand and guide your left hand to your neck. Squeeze tightly, When your left hand rebels, chop it off with your right.
Then continue squeezing your neck with your rightious right hand. Then everything will be OK…..
