Florida Gunman Spraypaints Red ‘V’ On Wall, Opens Fire At School Board Meeting

Another day, another revolution nipped in the bud. MSNBC reports on an agrieved lunatic whose comic-book-esque showdown with a Florida school board ended with his being shot to death by authorities. Tape below:

    I’m always amazed by the weirdness in the choice of targets for rage. Evidently a Florida school board was the source of the worlds ill…or more likely…a group of people who might be easily intimidated for a cheap moment of fake power before escaping from responsibility through suicide. It’s never a suicide by charging into a crack house and killing armed dealers and junkies…never a guy storming a prostitution ring and popping a few caps in some pimps…never a suicide by grenade in the middle of a Klan rally.

    Nope…its always terrorize the shit out of some yokels whose worst crime is being boring and who couldn’t fight back if they tried. It kind of suggests that the mentality of suicide/killers is still cogent enough to be as cowardly at the end as they were during the rest of their lives…they prey on the weak because the strong still terrify them that easily. That final moment of freedom and ‘total power’ over the situation is a last delusional nod to the fantasy they never had the courage to make real.

    Reminds me of the pipe bomber that worked at a school and terrorized anyone who offended him with bizarre threats, break ins, small explosions and vandalism. He perceived himself as a hero, fighting against injustice and evil worthless people…but he was a nut who would blow up mailboxes or spray paint threats in the night over a parking space dispute. It must be hell to have a soul so cowardly that attacking the helpless look like some perverse view of heroism…and I hope that hell somehow continues long into the afterlife.

      It sounds like his wife worked for the school and got fired.

      They were amazingly calm in reasoning with him. Some lady not half his size even tried to grab the gun. The guy who signed the papers tried to save his friends at his own expense. It probably ruined his V for Vendetta fantasy when the people he shot revealed themselves to be decent and courageous.

      I have that same feeling for the people that keep attacking Christianity. It’s been done for decades now, and they know there is zero chance of blow-back. If they really had BALLS and wanted to take on a religion that supress people-why don’t they start mocking the islam faith? Why-because they know there will be blow back.

        many people mock christianity and don’t mock islam because they dont have muslims knocking on their doors telling them they are going to hell, or trying to turn science classes into a fantasy lit class, or trying to legislate how others get to live their life, maybe islam is orders of magnitudes worse, but christianity is a clear and present danger to them and islam is about as likely to impact them as a tsunami

        I’d attack religions more often than I do…but I often find myself at an impasse where there is almost nothing I can say or do that makes any of them look sillier than they already do. Islam or Christian, Mormon or Hindu…they all make me shake my head with vague disgust and repulsion.
