Glenn Beck is awesome. He does what he can, it must be a difficult juggling act for him to constantly struggle with pushing the envelope of what he wants to tell people versus having to stay on the air and be in it for the long term. If you scratch the surface of Glenn Beck he basically is Alex Jones for regular American family working people. You know the main group of people liberals hate and who’s tax revenue keeps the country afloat.

Glenn Beck (or his researchers) have been accurate on a few important things*, so I try to not dismiss his comments as a knee-jerk response.

However, he’s just fear mongering and churning business for his advertisers, in addition to speculating about the future because in 30 years no one will remember what he said today. The only noteworthy point, IMO, is that his ramblings are vaguely reminiscent of some of the speeches I used to hear in Mormon church services. Beck strips away the most explicit Mormon references, but his phrasing and tone-of-voice are straight out of Mormon sermons.

    ===Notes===
*Beck is quite accurate about the Progressive movement’s pernicious influence on America. For example, compulsory education came about because Progressives wanted to shape the American populace as though they were clay. In a speech before WWI, for example, Woodrow Wilson said “We want one class to have a liberal education. We want another class, a very much larger class of necessity, to forgo the privilege of a liberal education and fit themselves to perform specific difficult manual tasks.” That is to say, Wilson believed he had the right and obligation to determine how YOU and I were educated…

    • Hadrian999

if we are to believe that it’s a secret democrat move to create a educated class and an uneducated worker class, why is it that republicans are the ones beating the drum about how higher education is a commie affront to real americanism, and doing all the heavy lifting in regards to remove the ability of public education to prepare students for higher education via rewriting textbooks and gutting science classes?

The pernicious use of education, are you joking. A liberal education is available to all who can make use of it. Higher education can not really be dumbed down to suit the less intellectually gifted, that represents a illogical contradiction, one must be sufficient skilled to make use of it.
As for mass production versus craftsmanship, that has nothing to do with progressives, that is purely conservatism, craftsmanship being driven by workers guilds (unions) and mass production, the removal of skill via the production line driven by nothing more than greed via the simplification of labour and breaking the power of unions.
Beck is there the further soften the mind of dullards in order to prepare them for the Fox not-News propaganda that follows his show via the exaggerations of his show the opinions that come after seem more reasonable and are more readily accepted.
You insane paranoid postulation that somehow compulsory education can reduce IQ points lets say by 50 or more, that Republicans with IQ in the 80s and 90s can become skilled learners with IQs in the 120s and 130s simply by avoiding progressive education, that whole thinking from the gut BS.
Pursuit of knowledge is always driven by the individual and the skills they are born with, get over it.

love it when people get wound up about “future gun confiscation” gun rights are in the same class as abortion and war on christianity/christian theocracy, they are issues designed to fire up the lemmings behind both cartels, issues that will never really be touched because just mentioning them and having the propaganda networks behind the parties do some cheesy “journalism” about them gets people back on the plantation and not asking silly questions about campaign financing, budgets, or civil rights violations by the gvernment

Beck is equally critical of the Bush era, to say that he gave the Patriot Act a pass shows how little you know about Mr Beck. Beck has been on a doom and gloom rants for a long while now, but he supports his opinions with direct quotes and offers original sources to back up his claims. The basic idea I get from Glenn is that we are on the path to world governance, players behind the scenes are manipulating media and US government to get the US to become part of this New World Order. If you look at the issues we are facing as a nation and the words spoken by our leaders, it is going on- and it is a socialist model of governance (IMF and Euro are examples) , which is why US citizens must be duped into it- we are freedom lovers, we are wealthy, we are powerful, and we have pride in the country we have built. There is no way the leaders of today will get Americans to willingly abandon our constitution and hand over the keys to a NWO. Glenn shows with actual quotes, and video on how this country has been infiltrated by progressives who are bent on taking down this nation.

Our citizens need to take back our country and we need to work harder than ever to bring back the American dream- it is still here- as long as we have our sovereignty. But if we move towards a world wide governance, there is no way that the issues of your little town will matter on a world wide scale. Decisions will be made by hyper wealthy elitists who have beliefs that we do not share as a nation. The decisions made in some foreign think tank will more likely part us out like a chop shop rather than build us up to relive the American Dream. Once freedom is extinguished from this great country, it is gone forever.

Glenn Beck is a fuckin false prophet. I doesn’t take a prophet to predict civil unrest as a result of widespresd corruption and greed for power in government and the “free” market. It just takes a bit longer for the half numb people in this country to realize what going on and get pissed off about it.
Glenn Beck is more like a alchemist stirring a pot of molten lead hoping to turn it into gold.

Alex Jones and Glen Beck do not have the same message. Glen Beck fully supported the Bankster’s bailout under Bush. He also said Ron Paul supporters were potential terrorists. He says anyone who even considers the possibility of 911 being an inside job is insane.

Whoever says Glen Beck and Alex Jones have a similar message is either mentally retarded or defecating out their mouth.

The repeated statements by Alex Jones of infowars.com concerning his contempt of “The Anglo-American Establishment” are very telling indeed.

Alex Jones appears to have an alternate agenda.Alex Jones websites infowars.com and prisonplanet.com use a globe as a logo and he has never portrayed The American Flag on his website in good light.

After studying Alex Jones for 10 years I am close to concluding that this man is a Communist as he promotes collective populism which leads to Communism.

Surely there would be multiple childhood friends or ex-girlfriend revenge blogs about Alex Jones if he was real. I have found nothing to indicate he existed much before his early media days. And why is Alex Jones on RUSSIA TIMES?
