Sarah Palin Under Cyber-Attack from WikiLeaks Supporters in ‘Operation Payback’

PalinWikiLeaks I wonder if this is even true or it’s just more media attention-seeking from former Half-Governor Palin. Jake Tapper writes on ABC News (Thanks to Dawn Reshen-Doty to for tipping Disinfo off to the story):

The website and personal credit card information of former Gov. Sarah Palin were cyber-attacked by Wikileaks supporters, the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate tells ABC News in an email.

Hackers in London that the Palin team believe to be affiliated with “Operation Payback” — a group of supporters of Julian Assange and Wikileaks – have tried to shut down SarahPac and have disrupted Sarah and Todd Palin’s personal credit card accounts, SarahPAC aide Rebecca Mansour said.

“No wonder others are keeping silent about Assange’s antics,” Palin emailed ABC News. “This is what happens when you exercise the First Amendment and speak against his sick, un-American espionage efforts.”

Palin has criticized Wikileaks founder Assange, writing on Facebook that his “past posting of classified documents revealed the identity of more than 100 Afghan sources to the Taliban. Why was he not pursued with the same urgency we pursue al-Qaeda and Taliban leaders? … Assange is not a ‘journalist’ any more than the ‘editor’ of al-Qaeda’s new English-language magazine Inspire is a ‘journalist.’ He is an anti-American operative with blood on his hands.”

      Keeping silent? What channel has she been watching…cuz I’ve had an earful of this crap for weeks now…and MSM has been hating on Wkileaks whenever it isn’t enabling other boobs squealing about assassination. The only people getting hacked are the bigname losers that devote their time and influence to attacking Wikileaks directly…which…hey…in a war…don’t come cryin if you shoot first and then get scared because bullets start flying.

    I love how people have been throwing around the terms Un-American and Terrorist when referring to Julian and Wikileaks. Apparently some people forget how this country was founded, like the fact that our founders committed Treason towards our British overlords.

      it’s quite funny when estableshment people claim Julian Assange has blood on their hands, they should look at their own, anyone who authorizes or supports these wars has blood on their hands, all the killing isn’t really what bothers me the most, it’s the fundamental dishonesty about it that gets me, sure the wtc attack killed a few thousand people, we retaliate by destroying 2 nations, setting up “black prisons” without any kind of proper oversight, torture people, kidnap people on vague hunches or on the grounds of neighbors using “informing” as a means to settle old grudges(I have personal experience with this)
      unleash armies of profit driven mercenaries all combining to cause horrendous levels of civilian deaths, and we still claim to be the good guys, and vilify anyone willing to take the risks to tell the truth.
