    The good professor might get even better results if he used students who were willing to state their sexual preferences in advance ….and then taylor his “porn” to what will on turn the particular student involved.
    This would weed out those photos that don’t work (in terms of esp) because the student subject may be gay and not aroused by that particular erotic photo. I assume that the professor he had allowed for male porn for male test subjects, and female porn for female test subjects. If not then that, plus determining the sexual orientation of the student subject, would be a more accurate test of esp potentials. Of course there is the complicating factor of just “how” gay a person is, on a scale of x.
    And what about prudes or “religious” people or people that are simply embarrassed or turned off in some way by porn. They might not have an “honest” reaction to the erotic photos in that their reaction might be skewed in some way. Not to mention closeted gays. It’s not that simple!
