Over 2,000 Vaccinated Babies Dead: The Cost Of Doing Business

3-month check-upNeil Z. Miller writing for Natural News:

Earlier this month (March 2011), Japanese authorities ordered doctors to stop using pneumococcal and Hib vaccines because four children died after receiving the shots. However, the real news was never reported: more than 2,000 babies died in the United States after receiving vaccines for these very same diseases, yet authorities refuse to warn parents and halt production. A safety review is vital to determine whether a recall of the dangerous shots may be necessary to protect additional American babies from disability and death.

According to Paul Offit, media spokesperson for the vaccine industry, “the Japanese Ministry of Health was foolish to suspend the Hib and pneumococcal programs.” Offit thinks the deaths were probably caused by SIDS, or underlying conditions, or another cause – anything except the vaccines. Often, children get sick and die by chance.

William Schaffner, chairman of the department of medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, believes, like Offit, that the deaths are “most likely…a coincidence.” In a twist of irony, it may also be a coincidence that Schaffner receives money from vaccine manufacturers – whose stock prices traded lower after the announcement by Japan – for consulting and speaking about vaccines. Offit and Schaffner have never seen the dead children, nor have autopsies been conducted, so their assessments regarding the true cause of death are not based on science…

What you call ‘science based medicine’, I call fearful superstitious voodoo, where toxins are injected into children in the hopes of preventing future disease. To support vaccination is to be ignorant of the actual causes of disease, and to accept the assumptions heaved upon you by those who benefit from the present arrangement.

Also, savages don’t die of smallpox and whooping cough, urban societies do.

So, polio was eradicated why, exactly?

          • JoiquimCouteau

Because use of DDT decreased in the mid ’50s (http://www.harpub.co.cc/all4070d.gif), and DDT was a significant cause of paralysis, especially in children. Also, the diagnostic criterion for polio were changed 1956; there is still infantile paralysis, it’s just been renamed. Search ‘polio cases’ on pubmed, and you’ll see what I mean. Poilio was identified as a condition in 1840. In 1908 the poliovirus was identified as its causative agent. DDT wasn’t used until 1939. The best case you can hope to make with the evidence you’ve presented me is that a large number of polio cases were misdiagnosed during the period DDT was in use. To begin to do that you would need to present similar side-by-side data for the decline of polio and usage of DDT in other countries from 1939 to the present day and show that there is a stronger correlation between the pesticide than the vaccine. In places where polio exists today, like India and Afghanistan, is there DDT in widespread use? What of certain tropical countries where DDT is used to kill malarial mosquito, but where the vaccine has been distributed?

After you’ve made a sufficiently strong statistical argument, you would still have to make a case for why the poliovirus itself is harmless or unaffected by vaccine, and a mechanism by which DDT or some other causal agent would produce the same symptoms, be transmitted according to the same patterns, etc., before making a case that the vaccine has no value.

          • JoiquimCouteau

Lead arsenate, which causes similar neurological damage, was used as a pesticide from 1892. Before then, arsenic or lead poisoning from other sources caused paralysis. No one can say for certain what caused every case of paralysis, but before 1892 in the united states polio was not considered epidemic (or a virus). India is the world’s largest consumer of DDT.

Before 1892 people were still coming to terms with idea that microorganisms cause disease. Many diseases we recognize today were poorly understood or vaguely defined. For example, gastro-entiritis was lumped in with cholera and widely attributed to deadly miasmas. Even so, it was identified as a discrete condition as early as 1840. The same scientific method which produced chemicals for industrial use also allowed for the poliovirus to be identified–that’s a correlation between our better understanding of the chemical and biological worlds, not a causation between chemistry and polio.

I’m not picking and choosing, these are all neurotoxins that were got into the food supply in significant quantities. It would be in incredible if there was NOT widespread paralysis, considering how heavily LA, DDT, and benzene hexachloride were used. http://orthomolecular.org/library/jom/1993/pdf/1993-v08n04-p229.pdf, among many many others.

Ascorbate levels are known to be depleted during cancer and after antigenic insult. I quote,

“Many SIDs are precipitated by some
usually minor, often not even noticed insult to a
seemingly healthy, rapidly growing baby; or the
baby is slightly ill, as discussed earlier. Any stress
including burn or injury, as well as illness,
increases the body’s need for ascorbate. A
premature baby is more susceptible to SID than a
full-term child: it uses more ascorbate to fight
greater stress. High incidence in winter might be
explained by dry indoor air carrying more disease
organisms; that from midnight to 6 a.m. remains
        mysterious.
3.6 Often the insult, Kalokerinos found, was
an inoculation. SIDs increased alarmingly after
a “routine” immunization campaign. Death was
common if a baby was inoculated during or soon
after an illness, while scorbutic or sub-scorbutic.”

There is a great reason to keep giving these vaccines: 10% of ALL child deaths under the age of 5 (HIV negative children) are from the infections these vaccines guard against. We are talking about hundreds of thousands of children per year. The over 2,000 deaths cited above don’t give a time-frame, either, I notice. If that is per month, that would be reason to shut down the vaccine programs. Per year, it would be startling, and worth further review. If that number represents the entire history of these vaccines…I think we need to reflect on the lives the vaccines have saved.

“Vaccinations are to a healthy immune system what fluoride is to healthy teeth.”

For this to be said there must be a large misunderstanding of the benefits that come from vaccination. Would you rather 100s of thousands of people die per year from the disease, or just a few thousand from adverse reactions from the vaccine? Would you also have opposed polio vaccinations in favor of rampant outbreaks of polio?

          • JoiquimCouteau

That’s an ignorant and fearful thing to say.
The sharp increase in poliomyeletis at the turn of the century was caused by the widespread use of lead arsenate on food crops to kill coddling moths. LA would kill the moths by paralyzing them. In the 40s, DDT and other chlorinated hydrocarbons came into vogue as ‘pesticides'; they had a similar effect to LA. These are extremely toxic compounds, yet they were promoted as safe consumption and use in the home (http://www.mindfully.org/Pesticide/DDT-Household-Pests-USDA-Mar47c.jpg). Poliomyelitis cases correlated almost exactly with DDT production; when DDT use declined int he ’60s, poliomyelitis cases did too. Polio cases occured mainly in suburban children (whose mothers sprayed DDT liberally in the home), particularly during the summer (when pesticides were sprayed). There were ‘outbreaks’ in distant individuals and groups who had consumed fruit or milk from the same source. The vaccines themselves were made from ground up monkey kidneys and testicles, innoculated with the ground up spinal cords of polio victims, and treated with formaldehyde. The vaccines themselves caused polio in m many individuals, and those who were vaccinated were more likely to become paralyzed (although such cases were blamed on other viruses, under the assumption that vaccination confers ‘permanent immunity’. Dwight Eisenhower endorsed the salk vaccine in the mid ’50s, saying it was safe and effective; when it was found that it was toxic and worthless, the diagnostic criterion for polio were substantially changed, to include only individuals that remained paralyzed for more than sixty days, and from which the virus could be ‘isolated’. This change in the definition of polio (just like in AIDS) was responsible for the reduction of reported cases; most people who would previously have been diagnosed with polio were now diagnosed with viral or aseptic meningitis. If you add it up, more people were contracting polio-like diseases after the vaccine/renaming.

Basically, blaming a virus shifted attention away from the actual, toxic cause, which was (possibly among other things) lead arsenate and DDT. People often refer to polio as proof of vaccines’ efficacy, but the truth is the opposite. For anyone who hasn’t dismissed me out of hand as a ‘vaccinophobe’ or some other nonsense, I refer you to the work of Ralph Scobey, Morton Biskind, and Jim West. I also challenge you to read papers supporting viral etiology; they are for the most part worthless garbage, as I’m certain you will agree if you look into it.

    very misleading article.

    from the vaers website:

“About 85-90% of the reports describe mild adverse events such as fever, local reactions, and episodes of crying or mild irritability. The remaining reports reflect serious adverse events involving life-threatening conditions, hospitalization, permanent disability, or death, which may or may not have been caused by a vaccine.”

    and then:

“VAERS seeks reports of any clinically significant medical event that occurs after vaccination, even if the reporter cannot be certain that the event was caused by the vaccine.”

whether or not the vaccines actually caused the deaths is not stated nor addressed. there are no numbers telling how many infants total were vaccinated in either the us or japan. assuming that the vaccines did indeed lead to the deaths: why is there such a wide discrepancy in the death tolls in the us and japan?
