‘Who The Hell Do You Think You Are?’ Farrakhan Asks Obama (Video)

Is this any way to speak to your president, Minister Farrakhan? Is it appropriate to call him “Brother” instead of “Mr. President” when you’re addressing him publicly? Who the hell do you think you are?

At about 7:58 minutes in: “You can’t order him [Gadaffi] to step down and get out; who the hell do you think you are?”

, , ,

  • GreenAnarchist

“Is this any way to speak to your president”? Haha, I can’t even believe Disinfo allows idiots like you to post here. Yeah because he’s the president he deserves the utmost respect from everybody, regardless of his actions. You fucking dolt. The position of “President” or leader of any kind does not command any respect with me and millions of others.

It’s people like you, submissive morons who are weak and need someone to lead them and need someone to tell them how to think that are ruining things. Get your head out of your ass.

    • WTF

      Agreed, really lame post.

OMG! I never knew I could agree with anything Farrakhan says….but I find that speech worthy of applause.
Holy shit, that’s some powerful stuff.
…and the president could use some vocal reprimands from his peeps. He’s a man -not a King.

    • http://twitter.com/RodT3 Cremaster

I never thought a I read a post and agree so fully. The thing is when he is calling him brother he is talking about him the person. Farrakahn is actually giving him a term of endearment. Regardless if he is President or not he is stating he will always be my brother. The critique is quite valid and scary as hell when extreme leftist recognize with the Tea Party movement and now the labor clashes we better take care of U.S.A. issues. This is a leader(Qaddafi) with no western support that has not only survived but thrived for decades.

Why are you on this site again? I believe the president is just another man, who the fuck cares that he didn’t address him in a PC fashion or that he asked who the hell do you think you are. The reason why you are a moron is because you just give your power away and if the person wastes your time you just say, “Oh well, maybe I’ll find someone else who can do a better job.” Take your dumbass “AMERICAN Citizen” nationalist retardism to Fox News or some other mind-numbing site.

      • Tuna Ghost

Well, there is the fact that in a more private situation the President could easily have answered “I’m the fucking president of the United States, and in case the last ten years haven’t shown you anything the President and his crew can fuck over just about any country we god damn well please. That’s who I am, you little shit”. Obama’s let me down as much as anyone, but let’s not lose our perspective here. Yeah he’s just another man…another man in a situation where he wields terrible power over many people.

We havent had a president who didn’t belong in jail in almost more than a generation or two now…its a little late to decide that rude presumptuous speech toward a seated president is improper, after claiming that one wasn’t American and should be deported, and the last was a war criminal and should be arrested. Is it just that its Farrakhan and he’s safe a target to maul for speaking rudely? Cuz Farrakhan is an ignorant, backassward twat with an attitude, but he’s a long LOOOOONG way from being the first or last guilty of dissing the Prez.

Still, if we’re going to ride Farrakhan for this…we need to ream the shit out of Limbaugh while we’re at it…along with half the journalists, preachers and pundits alive today…as well as most of the ordinary folks too.

I went on the nation of Islam site and gave my two cents-this was exactly my question put to him and I wasn’t very nice.

It took me a minute to really see what position Farrakhan thought he was in to make that statement? I knew he and qhadafi were tight–very nuch so–a 30-year plus friendship. As matter of fact they are in close communication as we speak with –that statement he made “it’s going to be a long war” which is info farrakhan would feed him knowing we don’t want to be in a war in the middle east-again–no coinicidence that 1500 protestors were in chicago either.

here is one of the problems with black american men and obama–jealousy-as al sharpton was id’s by the new york press at the beginning of Mr. Obama’s campaign. he “ain’t black enough” , he didn’t come up through the civil right’s movement.

sorry i have to type with 1 hand-holding my grand with the other. i finally see what the issue is. blacks; still are scarred from the politics endured after the slave ships brought them here. they have survived, excelled, failed…as inddividuals.but as a “race” they have a perception of non-worth –and they have internalized that emotion. the constant chatter of history and racism has prevented them and they have prevented themselves from moving towards solidarity with what being an american truly means…hard work, innovation, cohesiveness, clarity of purpose, creativity–sure i understand why you may want to create your own bank to be able to get the same mortgage as a ruling class person can with the same fico score..because this still goes on in different parts of the country. however you want to prove that and this is the first time you will see this written anywhere, by demonstrating that you accept that you now live here–how long has it been 400 years and it is time you start to consciously build this country but this time instead of under slavery alongside your american countrymen as all other immigrants have.(which I was thinking one day–I guess you could say they were brought here illegally as thus are illegal aliens? think about that-congressmen who also want to deny citizenship to children of illegal immigrants–interesting legal issue isn’t it?

now farrakhan is one of those blacks who insists that his followers demonstrate that kind of commitment only once again it is self oriented. they have money, schools, support their food markets, and try to keep the flow of dollars under the nation of islam’s control. ok. it is what it is and it’s better than just being consumers.I know better than most how many billionaires and multi millionaires and wealthy blacks there are in this country and there are a lot–and i don’t refer to entertainers, sports figures and dancers either..plenty of CEO of major corps and salaries in the millions for female and male…so let’s be clear that I know of what i speak…

the problem is that every black who looks at another black id’s them even is subconsciously as a member of as
Oprah says ” oh nobody knows the trouble I seen” well big mistake..President Obama knows nothing personally, emotionally or psychogically about growing up in America from a legacy of slavery.

Zilch, nada. He can empathize all day long…you can baptize him, in the holy roller church, by calling him the N word and whatever else crosses an American’s fancy after being imbued with a legacy of hatred for blacks and (the immigrants who join them! the nerve) but Mr. Barack Obama is not your brotha–Muslims insist that everyone was born a Muslim–and because of the President’s father’s family being Muslims–some and not all practice– then the Arab world want to embrace him as such..well of course..he is the President of the United States of America.

This is basically what I had to tell Mr. Farrakhan only I wasn’t so nice about it..I said the same thing to him–well who the hell do YOU think you are? he’s confused, a little envious and a tad annoyed the President of the U.S. a “brotha” has not called on him to get his genius military advice..what a joke.. Farrakhan shut up. and I have been to the Mosque(s). Sunni and NOI. as for qhadafi some rapper said ” playboy your time is up.” lol -right let’s drop the subject farrakhan is not worth discussing on the issue.

    • Voidthought

You are clearly making a mistake to just disregard this man’s words as “a joke”. Let me remind you where you are sitting and where that man is, a known figure. Here you are making judgement assumptions and forming a psychological profile on a man you’ve never met and only know what is printed about him, which is always based on interpretation(unless its a memoir or autobiography).

      • city_debut

Oh, alright. I guess I shouldn’t have any opinions about the actions of historical figures then either, seeing as I’ve never met them and know only what has been printed of their exploits.

    • Hopson

Hear, hear! Here, here! Thank you for posting this. I’m glad to see a very clear-headed, fair-minded statement such as this on a topic of this sort. There were many things Farrakhan said that I believe to be true regarding U.S. policy and practice in the middle east, but I, not being Muslim, DO indeed detect his bullish Muslim attitude in the whole spiel. I would like to add to your thoughts on the “perception of non-worth” by including recent generations of poor white kids who have grown up completely disenfranchised and suffer from the same self-perception of non-worth, yielding to the destructive lifestyles and habits that accompany disenfranchisement and destroyed self esteem/worth. My point in saying that? I see the germination of a very volatile population of revolters on the horizon and its a bit unnerving to contemplate. Farrakhan stated it accurately – dissatisfaction, as in Egypt and Libya, is brewing here, and this time it just may be a very unified mix of skin color and creed, but one thing for certain – they will, as in the Bolschevic revolution in Russia, be the dissatisfied and disenfranchised – and that number here is growing.

Who cares what name this guy called Obama? Why don’t we listen to the words he says? Because they are true, the US govt’s. shadow sector goes into foreign countries and fucks with their politics/society. Pretty much every country on this planet has a leader that the US approves of. The US could not tolerate a country with different because all of the people of the world would move there because TODAY’S LAWS ARE THE MOST OPPRESSING LAWS WE HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH IN A VERY LONG TIME. Plus Obama sucks, I can say that because he is a liar. Just like most politicians running for president, they will tell the people whatever they want to hear in order to get in the office, but once they are in they will turn back on their word without hesitation.

Am I the only one who remembers Obama promising us that he would get all the troops back home and stop the war?

Is it so wrong to have a sense of propriety? I address people by the title of their station in professional situations, regardless of whether or not I feel they deserve them. It’s part of being a professional.

There’s a lot of big talk here, but I have a feeling that given an audience with the President you lot would refer to him as “Mr. President”, just like the Secret Service would instruct you to do. C’mon now. There’s no need to try and impress us. We know you’re a tough guy, honey.
