9/11 Truthers Angry At Charlie Sheen For Not Spreading Their Crackpot Theories

Sheen 9/11This is exactly what’s wrong with “Truthers” of any kind … just because Charlie Sheen drank the kool aid once, does not mean he has to use every opportunity to expose these theories. Making him do what you think is the very definition of fascism. Via New York Magazine:

You just cannot make everyone happy! The 9/11 Truth Movement’s Mark Dice tells TMZ that Charlie Sheen — who has, in the past, publicly stated his support for the organization — is losing his conspiracy-theorist base because he’s not “asking hard questions about what happened on 9/11 and the resulting wars” at his live show. (Which is something he should be doing instead of “bragging about smoking crack and sleeping with hookers.”) Also, says Dice, the Q&A formatting needs tweaking.

    Second of all as a christian theocratic attention seeker Mark Dice is a poor representative of the wider truth movement. Very few in the truth movement actually pay any attention to him and his self aggrandizing antics these days and many have recognized his probable status as a cointelpro like CIA asset.

    Last of all the biggest crackpot theory regarding 9/11 is that both conservation of momentum and Newton’s third law of motion (immutable LAWS of physics – not theories) were suspended long enough for buildings to enter free fall collapse without explosive demolition. A band of Saudi highjackers might be able to break the laws of man but not the laws of physics.

    The term “Crackpot theory,” does not place the actual evidence on the table.
    1. The buildings fell at nearly free fall speed.
    2. Building 7 was demolished.
    3. The slide released by the gov’t of the pentagon shows NO PLANE
    4. Steel does not MELT from a collision with a plane.
    5. Thermite was found in the rubble.
    There is much more to this story in terms of evidence that does not add up to the official version of events.
    What about the 9/11 Commission?
    I am not angry at Charlie. I just want someone to acknowledge the real evidence that exists about this, and to acknowledge the roll of our country in the modern world for what it is: Corporatist Fascism.

    Just because empirical pieces of evidence cannot prove every conspiracy theory does not mean that the official version of events is not total bullshit.

      1. No, they didn’t. They appear to on video because dust and debris is showering down at high speed, which is obscuring the rest of the structure falling at the expected rate. This kind of mistake is what comes from getting your “evidence” from videos on YouTube.

      2. Yes. By debris and fire, as is detailed extensively in physics journals and structure magazines. Also as is supported by a lot of eyewitness testimony of rescue workers who were there.

      3. This is the stupidest of all claims by the truthers. Because a fast moving blur on a video doesn’t appear to you to be a plane, it obviously isn’t a plane, and never mind the physical evidence or the eyewitness testimony that says a giant god-damned plane smashed into the building. And never mind that if the Truther claim was true, there would be a plane and a couple hundred people simply vanishing off the face of the earth.

The article truthers like to bring out to “prove” that is was a.) didn’t say thermite was in the rubble, only that rust and small iron particles which possibly could have come from a theoretical thermite compound was found, and b.) was completely discredited by the same journal in which it was published (published without the editor’s permission, who quickly resigned in embarrassment that such an article was published under her watch).

      So…yeah.

          The chances of a controlled demolition bringing down buildings on 9/11 are next to zero. It would require far too many people and technology that doesn’t exist. A far more likely scenario is that someone knew there was an attack planned and did nothing to stop it in order to benefit from the resulting panic. Think about it: there’s no shortage of people who want to fly planes into buildings. Why not let them, and reap the benefits? There’s no paper trail, no physical evidence of any kind to link back to you. Its what any person with a brain would do. You get all the benefits with none of the risk.

What I approve less of, however, is an article like this one merely being an excuse to spout hyperbole rhetoric, to the point of childish name calling against those sceptic of the status quo. Leave it to the people who have the knowledge and credibility to do the work and make the points clear to the rest of us. Many of them are calling for a real investigation, and dismiss the white wash we’ve been handed.
