Interesting topic, but that news report is HORRIBLE.
Are there any better ones out there?

Why care what this murderer says?
I won’t watch the video because, I can’t get past the answer being “no reason to care”.
Charlie gets none of my airtime.
    Just my opinion.

    • Anon

yeah, why care what anyone says. fuck people and their beliefs and how they might coincide or conflict with your own resulting in self reflection and a better understanding of how the human mind works. fuck that gay-hippie-jew-faggot shit.

“I don’t care what a mass murdering psychopath says about the environment” is a far cry from “No one can ever say anything worthwhile so I’m going to ignore everyone!”

I’m with Bob43a. Why do you care what this predator thinks about, well, anything?

This clip gives us almost nothing of Charlie talking… just news retards blathering about how scary his voice is. Give us the raw audio, not bullshit. This isn’t information. It’s a clip implying that there might be information.

    • Tuna Ghost

go pick up a copy of Variety, I’m sure most of the interview is transcribed

ummm, just curious about everyone else’s reaction. . .

(scale of 0[perfectly comfortable] to 5 [extremely weirded out])

-God within, devil within: check, weirded out level 1

-Obama being played like a fool by wall street: check, weirded out level 0: he’s right.

-The people he provoked to committing murder not being told what to do by him: unsettling, weirded out level 2

-He’s a bad man: check, weirded out level 0: he is.

-We need to stop pissing on the environment: hmmm, weirded out level 5, because if this psychotic man can understand this, what the fuck is with the rest of us?

    • E.B. Wolf

-Weirded out level 6 when I wonder if things could really be any worse if ol’ Charlie was released and elected president. Even he couldn’t fuck things up much worse than they already are; and press conferences would be MUCH more interesting.

Although Charles Manson is comfortably filed under “freak” in my brain, I am still intrigued by the things he says and the way he sees things. While many dismiss his rantings as nonsense, I understand a lot of what he says. The devil and god, good and evil stuff makes perfect sense to me. There is a wisdom to Charles Manson. He may have been a murderer, but one doesn’t lose all credibility just because they commit a crime. Its like the “shocking” saying “What about all the good things Hitler did?” that I’ve seen on t-shirts. There is something to that. Man and man’s deeds aren’t in black in white but shades of gray.

People who display some sort of admiration for Manson are helpful in allowing us to see the sort of folks that Manson originally attracted. Having said that, at least he makes more sense than Charlie Sheen.

    • Markov Cheney

Since when does interest translate to admiration.

      • Drinky McGee

Don’t ask me. Ask the people who translated their interest into admiration, because they certainly exist. I can understand being interested in the True Crime aspect of all this and the cultural ugly-side-of-Woodstock aspect. I suppose I even understand the “Oh, look how evil I am. I’m wearing a Manson t-shirt. Mommy will be so mad.” aspect. But Manson as some sort of pundit or prophet? Seriously, if folks think this guy is profound, I can direct them to several local homeless shelters where they will find similar profundity.

There’s a thin line… a very thin line. If you think about witchcraft or psychic enhancement brought on by sensory deprivation, you have a prime candidate in Charlie. The man has been in captivity for 63 years of his life and the prime time of his freedom just happened to be during the 60′s counter culture. There are very odd elements of synchronicity associated with this man. Dig deeper…

The only reason why people are interested in what he has to say is out of the morbid curiosity he generates as a mass murderer. So now the mass murderer starts talking about the environment and everybody is fascinated all of a sudden. There are a lot of people who have quite a bit more to say about the environment and what to do about it than he does: people who have actually studied and worked in the field for decades. But I guess because they are just regular folks, it’s not as entertaining.

Charles Manson never committed or ordered any of the crimes he was convicted for. One of the reasons he did not receive a fair trial was the pre-trial media exploration that convicted him before he even gotten in a courtroom. Just as now: the media is changing Charlie’s statements out of context to attracted more readers. Whomever is interested to read the real interview and the and the true words said by Charles Manson we strongly advice to read it on this website: http://www.mansondirect.com/

This is true and Nixon declared him “guilty” to the mass media before he was sentenced in the court room.

    • Synapse

If he’d committed the murders in a state with the death penalty, that would have been the end of it, and no one would give two shits over some drugged up psycho running a cult in his back yard.

All you need to see is that the guy has a swastika in his head. What more do you need?

Truthfully, what is charsimatic about this black heart Manson? He himself didn’t kill anyone did he? He got others to do the dirty work. I think people admire his intelligence and loony Jack Nicholson-like swagger.

Something about this guy just sucks people in. His whole criminal history is based on praying on and manipulating the weak minded. Had he been born into another situation -he could easily be the next Hitler.

Sometimes I wonder if minds like his have reached a certain lone peak of enlightenment, free of ordinary constraints -yet somehow devoid of key elements of awareness, compassion, etc. thus culminating in a monster like Manson, the demon Guru.
