    No shit.

The uncomfortable truth is that everyone is invading your privacy as much as they possibly can and instead of protecting it, the government has decided to lead the charge. You can resign yourself to it, maybe complain about it, or you can opt to drop off the face of the earth as much as possible (paying cash to local retailers where they still exist, for example), but there’s no happy medium where you can be fully connected and retain your privacy.

This story is a bit ironic. If I hadn’t disabled my facebook account a few months ago, Disinfo and Facebook would have given me a warm welcome by name with two or three friends (with pics) who “liked” this site. It seems to be happening on every site I go to.

Apple not only tracks peoples movements through their iphones and then uploads them with hidden software, but also apple computers scan through photos on their computer and isolatse peoples faces and creates a database of them. Whats to say these arent uploades as well. Creepy

They aren’t. And the iPhone issue was over-hyped as well and the truth was corrected shortly after the story broke.

The quality of the information held by Facebook in reality are an illusion portrayed by Facebook in order to sell that data and advertising space.
Let’s be honest Facebook would have to be the biggest compilation of bullshit on the face of the planet. The race to have most friends as some kind of score, exaggerations about who people are and what they do, false compliments, claims of liking something because it is marketed as being cool to like it and the list goes on. A flood of data mixed with a huge amount less than truthful entries makes it contaminated database. Maybe some of the groups are of value, my even then most people join them without any thought or commitment and quickly forget about them.
As for google use this addon for firefox http://cs.nyu.edu/trackmenot/.
