It may come as a surprise to some Americans, but since 9/11, Osama bin Laden’s name and visage have been prime fodder for use in corporate ad campaigns (elsewhere) around the world, symbolizing a range of meanings. Buzzfeed has an overview of some of the best examples of Osama advertising, demonstrating that terrorism, like sex, sells. Just imagine the unbelievable bankability he would have commanded had he not been in hiding.

    And my instinct says, that with 554 days to go, and just about zero chance of Obama being able to satisfy expectations of a pull out or even a significant troop reduction, a good chunk of that will be him trying to play Osama for defense.

    It’s absolutely ridiculous how people can be so gullble to think that Osama was killed by US forces last night. All of a sudden they felt bad for him and wanted to give him an Islamic burial within 24 hours, fly his corpse over 400 miles away and ditch it into the sea? BS! Obamas White House has manipulated the mass media and turned this into something it is not. He tried to play the race card, then releasing a birth certificate…..he thinks by saying we killed Bin Laden, with no proof, only believing what they say is good enough is a laughing riot.
    Bin Laden died years ago of liver and kidney failure.

    By the way…anyone notice that Yahoo turned off the comment section on EVERY SINGLE article on Bin Ladens death?
