uhm no alex is right all the time, i hear stuff there and then weeks later the mainstream media is forced to report on it because he was right and he was first. people hating on alex just hate the idea that the leaders we put in charge belong to nefarious groups who would like to see harm done to you and you can’t take it. go back to mommys teets if reality is too harsh for you. the elite do see u as cattle, throughout history man has never been free and we think just because we create this country and wave flags that will go away? not without a fight it wont. they exist in the shadows and want things to go back to the old way of things where we were simply peasants and could be killed outright for saying things against our parasitic masters.

    • This is why Alex Jones is so worked up all the time. The entire scene of exaggerated government para-militarism, power elite, satanism, the occult, the Bilderburg group, the Illuminati, etc… that constitutes for Alex Jones the force of evil in the world is really his own fantasy inverted. Deep down he is totally into all of it, and if he could only get over framing the his whole production like stupid Protestant rube from the American south he would probably be a pretty interesting and creative person. To whatever end, he obviously pursues the truth, history, new ideas, and puts a considerable amount of though into his endeavors. 39. Ugh…  Damnit…. I kind of feel like a complete nut job right now, and I can’t believe I’m about to post this, but I have to admit, and swear, that the one time I smoked 15X salvia divinorum, no joke, I saw what appeared to be tons of these little evil Keebler elf looking critters everywhere, in weird little green hats, building everything I could see. It sounds crazy, which I can imagine most people describing a hallucinatory trip would probably sound, but they were definitely there, and I felt as if I was in slow motion and they were moving rather fast. They were building what I can only describe as “each frame of my view”. My field of vision while tripping looked like only what I can describe as one of those old 3D viewmaster toys picture discs with the different slides around it, except each frame/slide of my vision was being pushed in a clockwise circle by these little elves, like they were building every frame of my vision and pushing it into place, meticulously one after another. I know I sound nuts, and reading this back to myself up to this point, I admit, does sound nuts. But I’m not some stupid drugged out hippie, munching hallucinogenic drugs all the time or even anything close, but I’ll swear on everything sacred in my life, it’s what I saw very very clearly, and I remember it well because very few things in my life have shook me quite like that.

I’ll admit also that in my late teens I had tried most other hallucinogenics at least once, but it was always just the usual trip, no cartoonish visual hallucinations in terms of seeing things that weren’t really there, it was just always the usual visual hallucinations like patterns moving and walls breathing, if you’ve tripped before on LSD or mushrooms, you know what I mean. I also tried lesser intensity dosages of salvia divinorum before and saw some hallucinations, but again, nothing that wasn’t really there. The truly bizarre part is, shortly after the 15X salvia trip, about a month later, at a cookout, a friend of mine told me a story about his experience trying a potent salvia extract, and that he saw the exact same things doing the same thing I saw. Building everything in his field of view.  I should note that he told me this before I said anything about what I’d seen, and when he said what he’d seen, I got chills like never before.

Typically a hallucination manifests from your own thoughts and imagination, I don’t think about elves or anything bizarre like that so I have no idea what would have conjured the hallucination in the first place. So yeah, there’s my story. I’m not alone either, I’ve searched online to see if others had posted stories like mine, and sure enough, there are.  I don’t know what the hell it means, or if it’s just some kind of bizarre but common manifestation of our minds to represent something else in our lives.  I have no idea what it was or what it came from but it was the most lucid thing I had ever seen. I also want to mention I’ve never tried DMT, but I know others that have and they described the trip to be just as intense as 15X salvia extract, which if you don’t know, is about 100 times more intense than LSD or shrooms, but only for matter of a few minutes and then you’re right back to normal. Definitely only for experienced trippers, and it’s wise to have someone there to watch you and make sure you don’t hurt yourself while on the salvia extract.

    • Salvia. It’s officially the weirdest drug out there.

I’ve taken it a handful of times and got totally different effects each time. It’s absolutely unpredictable.

    •  The last time I did salvia it was 30x extract, and it was by far the weirdest thing I have ever experienced.  And I’ve done a lot of weird things. I encountered these bizarre, super happy, benevolent ‘beings’ that were sort of human, but not completely.  Not necessarily ‘elves’ per se, but sort of along those lines.  They were singing to me and welcoming me to their world.  It almost felt like I kind of ‘knew’ them and the place, too.

It was really, really far out. And I’m still not totally sure the ‘place’ that I went too wasn’t an actual real place in another dimension or something. In no other altered state have I ever had that kind of experience before – I wouldn’t have believed it possible.

Ayhuasca may contain DMT from mimosa hostilis, however when ingested it is more like ingesting psilocybin mushrooms (or so i’ve heard). DMT, when smoked or taken via intravenous injection, a far different experience

  45. DMT is a thing to be revered, respected. for those who have been lucky enough to have the experience of living without “time” or “space” in a trip will know the power of their own mind’s eye. i dont care if i sound like a loon. DMT taught me two things: 1. I am a fundamentally good person (not said in the egotistical, self congratulatory way), and 2. There really could be no such thing as “death” – which in turn taught me not to fear the void. again, i don’t care if i sound crazy. nothing can prepare even the most thoroughly researched and experienced of cosmonauts for “the place”.
love my friend DiMiTri, but wouldn’t want to hang with him every day. little and rarely makes our time together in the rabbit hole all the more special. Peace! 🙂

  54. I had a dream about a top secret mental institution where they keep psychics and the grounds are guarded by dogs that have something similar to venom sacks, except they shoot out DMT. This is to cause someone’s psyche to be torn apart before entering the next world, because being dismemebered by viceous dogs will translate into the DMT plane as destruction of the soul as one’s visionary experience crosses over into the death plane. Could this actually be possible?

  56. The architecture of the DMT universe is too complex to even fathom.  In the DMT space, there are benevolent and malevolent entities.  But my question is why would any of these entities, who inhabit the fabric of space and time and the infinite spaces between, HELP THE CIA OR WHATEVER HIDDEN GROUP FOR WHATEVER REASON.  What, do the DMT entities suddenly decide that space and time and the infinite in-betweens are no longer “cutting it” and need to exchange their knowledge of the universe for some petty, earth bound reward? No. These DMT entities are watchers, observers, teachers, and guides for us in their realm: That is all.  Alex Jones needs to actually try DMT BEFORE HE CAN TAKE ABOUT IT.  If he did try it, he would realize that everything he has said is a lie, flat-out ignorant, and just plain insane.

DMT is a chemical secreted by your pineal gland, which has been associated with the 6th chakra or “third eye” spoken of by shamans for thousands of years. Through stimulation techniques and deep relaxation the pineal gland can be coaxed into secreting DMT in sufficient quantity to make you “trip”.

There are quite a few sources available to guide you to its activation for the serious space cadet.

I once had an unintentional experience that projected a chakra vortex out of my forehead. What followed was an experience I cannot forget. I was floating in the “air”, entwined with my girlfriend following some fantastic love making. I say “love making” because that’s what it was, not just gratuitous humping. Anyway, we both floated above the bed and she asked: “show me your art”. I picked up my guitar and fingered a chord. The guitar gave off a sound like feedback, but it resonated a multi-chromatic sound I have never heard anything like before -yet it sounded familiar. Then I was floating with her again. She took my hand and we began to fly toward the wall rather abruptly. Everything felt fine until then. I felt scared and woke up in a cold sweat wondering what just happened.
I asked my girlfriend if she had experienced the same thing. She said she remembered nothing. It took a while to shake off the experience. I still wonder what I may have experienced if I hadn’t freaked out and had instead flew through the wall with whatever entity I was dealing with. Maybe it was one of those “clockwork elves” taking form as my girlfriend to keep me calm during the experience. IT WAS NO DREAM. What it was -I couldn’t say…

I wouldn’t consider myself an expert and I wouldn’t presume to tell you what’s best for you. My experiences were unintentional and I’m just beginning to process them. The following is what I’ve gathered from my own experience and from what I’ve read or heard from others.

Deep relaxation needs to be the first step. Conscious mind needs to be empty of directed thought. How you achieve that will vary from person to person.
A deep connection to someone you love can be a trigger or meditation can get you there too. Profound relaxation seems to be key.

Focus your minds eye on the physical area between and slightly above your eyebrows or have a good friend hold their finger or other object near to but not touching that same area. You will feel a tingling or mild burning sensation in the center of the forehead if all is well. That is a sign of activation. The hard part can be keeping your mind from wandering or focusing on details of your physical life. If you find yourself doing this -don’t fight it. Instead, observe it like you would watch a train pass. Don’t judge the thoughts, just observe them. This helps to you separate from the mundane existence you normally experience. • I would  just like to bring to attention the work of Michael Persinger and Todd Murphy for those psychonauts looking for a balanced perspective. I am very grateful for the work they have done. GoodDoktorBad, thanks for sharing your experience. I have had many altered state experiences myself. I am not sure how far down the rabbit “whole” you have gone, but eventually one realizes, this is a trip, they all are. Consciousness, born out of duality, is an illusion. This is a streaming holographic projection from a mind which has forgotten its source. Welcome to channel Earth. Row your boat gently down the stream.I would like to see us all get our minds online, all tapped into the source. It really is your only hope.

I’m defiantly interested in hearing about your techniques. I have had many other glimpses of what lay beyond this dream we call life and learned that there is little to fear other than literally -fear itself. Although that expression is an enigma in itself since fear of fear is still fear. I have no fear of “death” itself. Only the fear of physical pain and separation from things and people I love.

I like your use of metaphor to describe what existence is. Language can be quite a poor instrument to describe the esoteric in’s and out’s of existence and physical science terms can be pretty lame to describe things too. Yet still we try, lost between abstraction and a reality we can’t fully describe objectively.
            It sure is fascinating though…

Dr. Rick Strassman hypothesizes that the Pineal is the most likely place in his book, “The Spirit Molecule” but it has never been proven by science. I offer no alternative “theory” or hypothesis to be more precise, to
what? You stating a hypothesis (DMT is secreted by the Pineal) as fact?
As in, “DMT is a chemical secreted by your pineal gland”. My tone may
have been over the top, for that, I apologize. However, it’s extremely
tiresome to read the same misinformation repeatedly.

Strassman’s  hypothesis may well be correct. It certainly seems to be the most
likely place of origin. However, in the interest of truth and accuracy, it seems
wise to separate, hypothesis, theory and fact.

From Strassman’s book: (and pulled from another discussion forum where the same hypothesis had been reported as fact)

This is the original source material for the hypothesis that DMT is
secreted by the Pineal. Since DMT degrades so quickly however, it is
unlikely that this will ever be proven. Until of course, we can extract
          it from a living gland.

The most general hypothesis is that the pineal gland produces psychedelic amounts of DMT at extraordinary times in our lives. Pineal DMT
production is the physical representation of non-material, or
energetic, processes. It provides us with the vehicle to consciously
experience the movement of our life-force in its most extreme
manifestations. Specific examples of this phenomenon are the following:
When our individual life force enters our fetal body, the moment in
which we become truly human, it passes through the pineal and triggers
the first primordial flood of DMT.
Later, at birth, the pineal releases more DMT.
In some of us, pineal DMT  mediates the pivotal experiences of deep meditation, psychosis, and near-death experiences.
As we die, the life-force leaves the body through the pineal gland, releasing another flood of this psychedelic spirit molecule.

          • GoodDoktorBad | Jun 29, 2011 at 2:46 am |

I don’t remember the source but I was under the impression that it had been found in the brain in very small quantities or possibly precursors that were chemically similar. Whatever the case, my focus in this discussion thread was not so much on DMT, but rather the mysteries of altered states, psychedelic experiences, shamanistic adventures, etc.

However, I’m not here to get into some battle with an arrogant cave troll who seems to just want to argue semantics.
The book excerpts you posted were good though. Thanks for that.

          • Misinformation | Jun 29, 2011 at 2:57 pm |

It was found in one study in 1972 in blood and urine. This of course, is not proof that it is secreted by the Pineal – correlation does not imply causation.

As for the focus of your post, it seems clear that it was based on the fact that you could activate the Pineal gland and induce the secretion of DMT to achieve the altered states you speak of. Which, if it is fact that the Pineal produces DMT, your techniques may be affective. Otherwise, your just sending someone on a wild goose chase at best and muddling up the search for truth at worst – but if that’s what you’re into.

As far as semantics are concerned, I’m guessing you wouldn’t consider it a semantic argument if I told everyone that they could find jesus by eating this here wafer and taking a sip of grape juice. Most likely, you just call me full of shit.

            …back to the cave

          • GoodDoktorBad | Jun 29, 2011 at 4:26 pm |

In case you haven’t noticed, I haven’t argued with you that it is a fact. If I have been misinformed then so be it.
Here’s another fact. You communicate badly. Instead of having an intelligent discussion, you begin with sarcasm and continue by metaphorically tapping your foot like an impatient old school teacher who’d like to whack my knuckles at the first moment you perceive a mistake. What makes you think your research into other peoples research is complete? It’s a fact that it’s not. Are you a bio-chemist? Did you do any testing your self? Why should I listen to you when your manner is one of arrogance and pride -two things that strongly suggest you’re not a reliable source. All this vitriol could have been avoided.

How can you go back to a cave you never left? You may or may not be correct on some points, but you’re still full of shit and frankly the odor is “tiresome”.

          • That troll fellow is behaving in accordance with someone who is trying to cover up something. It’s classic.

          • Misinformation | Jul 1, 2011 at 12:20 am |

For the second time, I apologize for the scarcasm in my opening post. If you actually read my second, you’d see that I did. For that, you responded with the same sarcasm and pride for which you’ve berated me. I should’ve just told you that you weren’t correct in claiming that the Pineal secretes DMT, unless you’ve found that resource I was asking you to mention. Unfortunately, as I already said, this makes the basis of your whole first post (which, unless I misunderstood it) either hypothesis, your own interpretation of your experience or pseudo science – I make no claims there.

Your third post was probably the most mature of either of us up till you said: “However, I’m not here to get into some battle with an arrogant cave troll who seems to just want to argue semantics”…
…at that point, you just became everything you’ve railed against towards me, including the classic deflection of, “I’m not here to argue semantics…”

The “You communicate badly” comment is ironic on so many levels, most of which I’m sure you can recognize. As for the rest of that post, wow.

“What makes you think your research into other peoples research is complete?”
I’m not even sure what this means. Of course my research into other peoples research isn’t complete, who has time for that? You don’t have to comb every journal to be up to date on the current accepted information.

“Are you a bio-chemist? Did you do any testing your self?”
No, I’m not. I do have at least three friends who are though and two of them are actually active on these subjects. But more to the point, why would I necessarily need to be. I leave that work up to them. All I need to be able to do is be literate and up to date. Are you suggesting that one needs a degree in any subject they are looking to discuss? The world sure would be a quiet place if that were so. Based on this notion, I suppose if I look back at all your disinfo posts, I would find that you hold hundreds of different degrees.

“Why should I listen to you when your manner is one of arrogance and
pride -two things that strongly suggest you’re not a reliable source.”
I somewhat understand this and definitely get your sentiment. At the risk of over-repeating myself, I apologize for the manner of my first post. But I’m not sure, in this case at least, how that manner changes the information being distributed. On my own scale of lack of reliability, the reporting of misinformation rates at the top vs, say, arrogance and pride. I will give you credit of your command of hyperbole and ad hominem though.

“All this vitriol could have been avoided.”
I agree, we’ve both fanned those flames.

            As to your pals:

            Ponder

I’m not even sure what this means: “behaving in accordance with someone who is trying to cover up something.”
Unless you’re referring to me making a poor attempt at covering my annoyance with, what is essentially and educated guess, as fact.

            And

            Midnight Movie

“and since people are saying that hypothesis with enough gusto to make it almost seem like fact makes me want it to be fact”
I don’t know what this means and it probably doesn’t even warrant a response. It appears that it took you several sentences to say nothing.

As for this: “i can’t just go right out and get some to do my own testing.  ”
You are right, it isn’t easy to go right out and get some but anyone with a basic understanding of chemistry and a few dollars can extract it. Hell, you don’t even need the chem, you just have to know how to read and follow directions.

          • GoodDoktorBad | Jul 1, 2011 at 10:47 pm |

            Relax.

          • you seem really angry.  and since people are saying that hypothesis with enough gusto to make it almost seem like fact makes me want it to be fact.  but then again, i can’t just go right out and get some to do my own testing.

Auto Tune is another silly internet fad. Take a video, and use a program to ‘auto tune’ the voices of the people in it so it works with a given song. See attached BROnado.

Sadly, my trips have all been of the mundane party drug experience. I do enjoy living vicariously through others’ reports though. My particular interest is in the similarities between a lot of these accounts and those of so-called ‘alien abductions’. It’s perhaps more obvious in the tales of ‘wispy elf like creatures’, but even in your own story we have the motif of floating, and of being compelled to go through a wall. Almost all stories of bedroom ‘abductions’ include that. I’m not saying you were nabbed by E.T. by any means but perhaps there is common ground between these kinds of experiences.

Terrance McKenna sums up what I’m trying to get at far better than I could: http://www.intuition.org/txt/mckenna.htm

That video was hilarious. “Oh my God look at the tree” had me rolling.

Oddly enough, I have never made a parallel between my experience and the whole “alien abduction” thing.
It really is similar. I’m intrigued.
I’ve always had the feeling that I was capable of anything, like a “god” sort of -but had a need to understand more and develop the maturity to not become a monster in the process. That I had to become worthy of the “power” before I could utilize it. Sounds crazy, I know, but I’ve never been the type to fear the unknown very much or to listen to doubters and scaredy cats. I like to find out for myself. I found out that it’s not the “unknown” that we fear, we fear only what; through experience or suggestion, we imagine could be.
The concept of self fulfilling prophesy seems to be a lot more sensible with this in mind.

I have seen glimpses of the future in my dreams that later came true to large extent with only a few details different than what actually came to pass. I’m getting used to it, so it seems more normal to me now.
While I know I’m not infallible, I’m also positive that I’m not just experiencing episodic insanity.

Excellent interview with Terrence McKenna you provided -Thanks and good day!

Ayhuasca may contain DMT from mimosa hostilis, however when ingested it is more like ingesting psilocybin mushrooms (or so i’ve heard). DMT, when smoked or taken via intravenous injection, a far different experience

Where you go from there or how far is unpredictable and possibly shocking.

I was fortunate, my experience more or less happened by accident and is likely quite different in detail than what other people might experience.

I did Google “pineal gland activation” and found a lot of stuff that looked interesting. See also subjects related to Chakras, “sex magick”, meditation techniques including yoga, shamanic traditions and Hermetic philosophy to name just a few.

    Hope that helps…

I’ll throw in my 2 cents on ayahuasca. I’ve taken it more than forty times and it’s good stuff. I used to drink a lot of liquor and it was starting to mess things up for me. Three sessions with ayahuasca and I drank about the same amount in two years that I used to drink in a day. Under the right guidance ayahuasca blows all of the mainstream drug and alcohol rehab programs out of the water.

As far as spiritual don Juan spiritual type journey stuff goes… ho yeah. It really is the red pill. Whether lawmakers are aware of it or not these things are illegal and demonized because people who take them start seeing through all the bullshit that’s going on and what’s more they start to see the *big* picture. That’s not to say these substances aren’t subject to abuse. They need to be respected the same way that anything powerful and potentially dangerous needs to be respected.

  96. I would  just like to bring to attention the work of Michael Persinger and Todd Murphy for those psychonauts looking for a balanced perspective. Row your boat gently down the stream. If anyone is interested, I also have a simple meditative technique which can dramatically shift your consciousness. I would like to see us all get our minds online, all tapped into the source. It really is mans only hope.

I’m glad I haven’t gotten a chance to watch it yet. DMiTry said it graciously. Just from what I read, Alex “the fear monger” Jones sure does sound like the ravings of someone who doesn’t have a clue what they are talking about. DMT is not something to be taken lightly or carelessly. Absolutely isn’t for the ignorant, which I see & hear a lot of these days. Idiots might play around but Life has a way of showing the deserving just how (not in control) they really are. que sera sera

Whatever it is “they ” seem to be putting in your food and water IS working. Take a look around.

  101. Anonymous | Jun 29, 2011 at 10:14 pm |

Yet still we try, lost between abstraction and reality we can’t fully describe objectively.
    It sure is fascinating though…

  105. you seem really angry.  and since people are saying that hypothesis with enough gusto to make it almost seem like fact makes me want it to be fact.  but then again, i can’t just go right out and get some to do my own testing.

f.u. for being a grade A ahole.  Big and tightly bound.

  106. Alex has tried DMT.. but it was when his name was Bill Hicks.

  107. Alex has tried DMT.. but it was when his name was Bill Hicks.

  108.  The last time I did salvia it was 30x extract, and it was by far the weirdest thing I have ever experienced.

  109. Anonymous | Jul 1, 2011 at 3:31 am |

Hell, you don’t even need the chem, you just have to know how to read and follow directions.

uhm no alex is right all the time, i hear stuff there and then weeks later the mainstream media is forced to report on it because he was right and he was first. people hating on alex just hate the idea that the leaders we put in charge belong to nefarious groups who would like to see harm done to you and you can’t take it. go back to mommys teets if reality is too harsh for you. the elite do see u as cattle, throughout history man has never been free and we think just because we create this country and wave flags that will go away? not without a fight it wont. they exist in the shadows and want things to go back to the old way of things where we were simply peasants and could be killed outright for saying things against our parasitic masters.

  120. Please don’t call someone immature while forgoing capitalization and condensing “you” to “u.”  It doesn’t help your criticism.
