The most exciting moment during the Murdochs’ parliamentary testimony in the never-ending British phone hacking saga was undoubtedly the foam pie attempt on Rupert, foiled only by the kung fu strike on would-be pieman Jonathan May-Bowles by Murdoch’s wife, Wendi. Respect to the tiger mother!

    The problem with this pie guy is that Murdoch still on the decline and the allegations and investigations are really doing some damage.  Let the current take him down.  We don’t need to create any sympathy for him and when you have guys attacking Murdoch physically, the media (particularly the right wing media) can then create an alternative narrative. “Look how the left hates capitalism and the job creators”.

    Don’t overlook the possibility that this guy might be on Murdoch’s payroll, directly or indirectly.

    After all, Murdoch is a master of turning non-events into emotionally-charged propaganda.

    Why hasn’t she been arrested for assault? Her actions may be understandable, but the only justification for striking someone else under UK law is self-defence…. and she wasn’t being attacked herself.
    Seems like it’s one law for Mr. Pie Man and one law for spouses of Neo-Con maverick billionaires, if you ask me.
