MSNBC On Police Brutality At The Occupy Wall Street Protests

It’s a shock to hear this kind of candid criticism and revealing of police misbehavior coming from a mainstream media outlet:

A last desperate attempt to become relevant and avoid bankruptcy?

Isn’t it odd that MSNBC is “mainstream” and FOXNews is not, even though FOX has more viewers by a couple orders of magnitude?

Has nothing to do with the video, or even the story, but I always find that “mainstream” label to be an odd beast.

    • And this is relevant why?

    • Fox News is too surreal. I’m not watching a network that tries to convince people that everyone else is a secret Communist plotting to give America to Hitler.

This is just an opinion, but this whole thing seems like a “work”.  Perhaps these incidences of “brutality” are an attempt to incite the otherwise peaceful protesters towards violence?  I’m reminded of the actions of our intelligence community in third world countries.. inciting protest/violence/regime change through subterfuge.  I only hope that our protesting friends have the courage to remain peaceful in the face of undue hostility.

That’s always great advice for prisoners in a death camp.
“Remain peaceful in the face of this hostility people….and walk this way please. Through that door. There you go.”

It’s in your rational best interest. Wanna get an ID card or resist and probably get killed? Wanna be relocated to a ghetto or resist and possibly get killed? Wanna get on a cattle car or resist and possibly get killed.

That one report that they can always point to if accused of being unfair and not reporting things without bias. They tell it like it is once then back to the 24/7 propaganda. “Oh look at this highly critical report we did on this incidence of police misconduct, we are unbiased you see”. Meanwhile there is a never ending litany of skewed coverage that excuses away things of this sort. So glad I gave up TV years ago.
