    bullshit media loves this shit. Media runs on advertisement if people are watching they dont give a fuck. I like the movement but there are only an elite group of people that are physically and mentally fit enough to protest and clash with any security forces and those people are there doing their job for humanity. If you the gentle civilian without a job want to make a difference go volunteer at a shelter or humane society or help someone that is sick in your community.

    Why do I keep seeing this bullshit reasoning everywhere with regard to OWS? If all anyone does to try to make a difference is volunteer at their local shelter then we’re all going to eventually be needing that shelter to survive ourselves. I’ll grant that this is just a slick advertisement for a movement that will likely get co-opted by political opportunist, but as for those people out there in the streets giving the Man the finger I say ‘right on!’

    So, you’re saying that Veterans, survivalists, good ole boys (and girls), or anybody trained in any form of combat (hand to hand, martial arts, etc…), is busy doing something else?
