Of course Beck’s wrong (or lying) when he says nobody in the Tea Party has talked of revolution or violence.  But which group will become violent first?  Certainly the Tea Party have more guns.

    And it’s almost untrue by definition, considering that they take their name from a violent, revolutionary mob. If a leftist group took that name, there’d be no end to the tear gassing.

    I have hopes for OWS, but at this point I am not entirely convinced that it is entirely genuine and will not become coopted and used simply as an emergency release valve with which people will vent their frustrations.

    Oh things in the US have the potential to get much much worse, but really there hasn’t been much more than a bit of unnecessary force and some macing here so far.
    Call me what you will, but I don’t think we are going to start seeing any change until at least one major metropolitan city is in flames.
