Occupy Oakland Police Following Brutal Raid: ‘Just Following Orders’

Abby Martin of Media Roots went out to cover the immediate aftermath of the brutal police raid of Occupy Oakland at 6:20 a.m. on October 25, 2011. 500+ Oakland PD used tear gas, rubber bullets and completely leveled two encampments of peaceful protestors practicing civil disobedience. 90+ protestors were then arrested.

    Only when the order is given to crack down on someone they know/love/respect, will the police come to their senses!  But I guess that would only apply if they have some sort of conscience. We all know that zombie robot slaves do not have feelings. Do not banish them to the desert… send them to hell!

    Read the book “Obedience to Authority.” It will tell you everything you need to know about military machines and the mindset that makes them work. “Just following orders” will come as no surprise to anyone who has read it.

    First…when a Marxist revolutionary, after peacefully campaigning for unions and wages, watches his fellows one by one end up dead when the wealthy landowners hire thugs to silence the opposition, takes up arms and kills for his cause…he is an insane criminal and every death caused in that revolution is a crime against humanity. But when a wealthy landowner hires mercenary troops to gut, butcher and rape people into terrified silence…its heroic and valiant defense against the perils of communism.Now…once you get a grip on that…you take it a step further and imagine that anyone who even remotely suggests that classism exists and that the sustaining of any capitalist system depends on managing it carefully with an eye toward preventing the most egregious abuses…is a Marxist revolutionary planning to commit genocide.If anyone in history does anything horrible…by default, they cannot be included amongst capitalists. If they were capitalists solely interested in power and money, but killed millions…they BECOME default socialists or communists.
