Was The Iran Terror Plot A U.S. Fabrication?

Mere paranoia? Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, G6 of U.S. Army’s 94th Division, says last week’s alleged plot by Iran to conduct a bombing and assassination on U.S. soil may be a fabrication by the Obama administration, perhaps even to establish a cause for war:

    At this point,
    after innumerable lies
    by various administrations
    regarding threats against Amorika
    it would be surprising if this was not a fabricated plot.

    Not only has every politico cried wolf once to often to be believed
    anyone who takes their wolf cries seriously
    must be considered very slow witted indeed.

    I don’t think that would be weird as the planning of the plot turned out to be a disaster; who would take credit for that? However, it all seems very suspicious.

    I doubt it.  Not because Obama is a Democrat, their opposition to war is a farce, but mainly because we need a break and the government knows it.  We can’t afford anymore wars at the moment so I doubt they would fabricate one.
