Occupy Minneapolis Forms Human Chain To Defend Foreclosed Home, Police Retreat

Shocking police confrontations with the Occupy movement are not limited to the coasts, don’t ya know. Protesters in Minneapolis challenged the police directly to protect a woman’s home and won:

November 19th, 2011: Following two arrests and an incident in which a police officer tried to run down an occupier with a squad car, Occupy Minneapolis formed a human chain around Sa’ra Kaiser’s foreclosed home, preventing the officers from boarding it up, and ultimately forcing the police – who had no legitimate legal pretense for preventing occupiers from being there in the first place – to give up and leave.

Wow that was fantastic! I love how in every protest the police do more and more to discredit themselves, whether it’s the use of pepper spray, beatings etc. When the protesters shout “the whole world is watching” They are absolutely correct, I live in New Zealand and my friends and I are watching very closely.

You didn’t do a follow-up.  All the protesters were gone by the next day, Sunday.  Might help if you did basic fact checking, instead of preaching.

your past posts are viewable via your profile, so the fact that you are a corporate/bankster troll/propagandist is obvious, you should just save yourself the time and NOT bother.

yeah once the police is gone they can move on to another project. They are not statues they have lives and basic needs like resting and eating just like any other organism that need to be tended to before they can go fight the curruption of the  system again.

fucking beautiful. that is how it’s done. excellent chants too. gotta push police to become aware they are getting fucked the same as everyone else. when they do they will join, and when they join the change will occur. “You are the 99%”
