    • Way to contribute! Now we can stay focused on the real candidates.

Since he won’t be winning, which lesser evil should we pick? Cain or Romney? Or Obama?

Because they got to go to ******* University, which our parents couldn’t afford (probably because they didn’t work hard enough). We need to be led by brilliant minds that can figure out how to keep us employed by corporations that can hire 20 Malaysians for the price of 1 American. We need to be assured that eternal labor is what we truly need. We need them to brilliantly explain to us that solving problems is economically irresponsible, whereas protecting and aggressively exploiting all discovered human needs is equivalent to job security for us…The masses.

Short answer: they smart, we dum. Get back to work, scumbags.

  9. I agree with most of Ron Paul’s opinions and I was rooting for him in 2008, but his notion that the market should regulate itself freaks me out.  Still, ending the wars (drug war included) and ending America’s devastating military expansion around the world is SO desperately needed.

yes, i completely agree- ron paul HAS aspects that i can appreciate ( am ideologically geared to agree with)- but the free market rhetoric is seriously scary, clive barker hell raiser sh_t. i also don’t believe he will truly reform (radically or otherwise) the system- there are simply too many powerful forces to either corrupt him, or co-opt him, or manipulate the outcomes of his reforms..

    • ObservantPatriot | Nov 10, 2011 at 8:11 am |

Yes, it all needs to end! O-bomb-a supports it all, hell he’ll support duct tape over our mouths as an executive order and make us pay for it!

      Ron Paul for HUMANITY!!

Note to commenters: We haven’t had a “free market” since the Federal Reserve stepped in 1913. They then controlled the price of everything on the “free market” by manipulating the currency and causing illusory rise of “inflation” (the rise in cost of goods, products, and services). Before commenting on how this privitized banking cartel, the Fed Res. doesn’t ruin a country/nation please read up on their actual function and what they have done in history. Rome was once great, but they didn’t last forever. Don’t let history repeat itself.

  11. Simply put, marijuana threatens the profits to some extent of almost every industry in the country. Think about it. Marijuana is more free now than it would if it was legalized. They’re just trying to figure out how to line their pockets with a billion dollar industry. It takes time to regulate, organize and divvy up an industry of such proportions. Big money to make here folks.

  15. Ron Paul also does not believe in the separation of church & state. Nor does he believe in personal opinion for the masses. Good people obey their government, that’s how Ron Paul works. People who disobey are bad and should disappear.

Yes, Ron Paul absolutely believes in the separation of the church & state. The Constitution is what documents the separation of the church & state, and he is a Champion of the Constitution. He has advocated for our individual liberties which was once protected by the Bill of Rights and the Constitution until the UNPatriotic Act came along.

Marcy, I know this site is disinfo.com but really? Your opinion speaks volumes of ignorance. Ron Paul has applauded and supported WikiLeaks and Julian Assange publicly yet, was disregarded by the MSM as being anti-U.S.A. since he supported freedom of information and whistle blowers rights to free speech especially when it’s for the good of humanity. O-bomb-a could careless if Bradley Manning disappeared, everyone seems to forget that this poor Veteran, who is only 26 yrs old has been locked away here since May ’10 just for sticking up for humanity.

  19. The weird thing with Ron Paul is that folk tend to focus on the bits they don’t necessarily agree with, almost as an excuse not to have to support bringing honesty back into politics. You literally find people saying “he doesn’t believe in evolution” citing something he said 6 years ago as a reason not to support him, as if that would have any possible impact on his policies (not least the policies he could actually follow up on).
What is more, he’s the only major candidate in the race right now with a position on evolution we can even know for sure, considering how much the others flip flop. Imagine finding something Mitt Romney said 6 years ago. You couldn’t use that as evidence for his belief on anything!
I’m really surprised how so many people can be in favour of rolling the dice with a status quo candidate rather than one who actually believes in something, and could actually do one thing – bring the troops home, which he can do unilaterally.

    • Rex Vestri | Nov 10, 2011 at 11:20 am |

Who gives a fuck what his beliefs on evolution vs creation are. That isn’t what makes Paul so objectionable as a candidate. The real problem with Ron Paul is that he wants to abolish Social Security, Medicare, do away with regulatory agencies and just let big business pollute and do whatever the hell it wants to, and give even more tax breaks to corporations and the top 1%.  He wants to unravel the social safety net of the New Deal just like the GOP does. THAT is what makes him such an undesirable candidate.

      • That’s simply not true, not true at all. He wants to get rid of agencies that do more harm than good. He will follow the bill of rights and the constitution. Businesses are suppose to benefit the people and he will impose regulation to do that. It will be good to bring the county back to FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE.

I disagree with him on a variety of issue but he’s by far the best candidate we got.

        • Rex Vestri | Nov 10, 2011 at 4:01 pm |

Actually, it is true. Listen to him say it himself:
          http://youtu.be/3qojv1bR-S0

Of course, it really doesn’t matter. There’s no way Paul is going to get the GOP nomination anyway, and he said he refuses to run as an independent.

      • As far as I’m aware, he’s the only candidate who, for the next 4 years, vows to PROTECT social security and medicare. Every other candidate supports inflation and debt, making these projects gradually more worthless, while Paul’s plan keeps them solidly at 2008 levels.
I could be wrong there though, so a follow up debunking by someone isn’t totally unexpected!

Ah, something Dr. Paul and I agree on.

The War on Drugs is probably the single-most idiotic venture of this nation, and to the world as a whole. Restrict a naturally growing herb that can be used for making all manner of textiles, the production of fuel, the production of paper, as well as providing medicinal benefit, to say nothing of its ability to alter perception, and as a result we waste an enormous amount of time, energy, and money that all could have been put to much better use.

But marijuana will never be legal—not just ‘de-criminalised’—until either there is a massive public outcry (as if there wasn’t already) or all the various industries that currently benefit from marijuana’s illegal status—pharmaceutical, lumber, oil, etc.—can determine a way to profit from it. Or until said industries are cast off. . .

O-bomb-a doesn’t give a flying sh-t about us or the world for that matter starting more wars than ever continuing the Bush agenda on steroids! The unAmerican Jobs Act that stipulates in the first few clauses that the supplies used for infrastructure can be imported outside of the U.S. Yeah, let’s tax ourselves to death to build up this nation only to hand it over to China whom we owe so much to.
Whoo hoo! The doctor’s office or pet shop down the street will hire me on as a $15,000/yr or $20,000/yr new hire so, they can write off $1,500 in taxes that would pay for the bogus O-bomb-aCare plan they have to offer me(I have to pay for it or pay a fine to the IRS, as if the IRS doesn’t rip us off enough by getting our money before we even do!). Oh, but wait I’m not a veteran of these UNConstitutional wars so, they wouldn’t even qualify or hire me since no one can afford to pay for these services/products whose prices are inflated by the Federal Reserve at will.

The jobs are going to go to the government unions who are one in the same with the local governments who will hire themselves to build infrastructure with IMPORTED material. Mind you all, we pay for this daily by the inflation that will be created evermore by another bailout. You are what makes people homeless, and not able to afford food then people like myself get arrested or ticketed for feeding starving citizens. Understand what the hell the Federal Reserve private banking cartel that was created on Goldman Sachs Jekyll Island and you all will realize who’s really pulling the strings.

If ignorant jerks like Ru Paul were to start meddling with things like The Federal Reserve we’d all be screwed.  Best to let sleeping giants lie.  Our country has only benefitted from institutions like Goldman Sachs.  You’re all just jealous of banks and their CEOs – heck, I am – and now you just want to punish them for being more successful than you.  I know where my vote lies: with Obama.  I dont want any money taken from honest, hard-working CEOs (its THEIR MONEY THEY EARNED IT).  We can’t afford to NOT grow our government, we need to expand pretty much every department (not cut it like Paul wants) so we can regulate ourselves out of this mess.  And OBAMA will grow the government, so he gets my vote.

  55. UCK Both of them. They are idiots. Although Ron Paul had great points when talking against retard ballsinhismouth(baldwin). The gateway theory is a lie its about what you can get. If you live in the middle of nowhere and only see one drug and can only get one drug then youll only do that. Alchol and Cigs are the gateway drugs if any becuase they are looked at as ok so people usually try those first but because they are legal when people are asked what drug did you try before you ruined your life from hard drugs they say weed when really 9-10 tried cigs or alch. Hemp can’t get you high at all yet they never talk about legalizing it. Hemp is what can open millions of jobs for every product out there. The coal and oil companies don’t want anyone to know, because no one would use them anymore because they are bad for the earth. I think they should stop trying to brainwash us and start letting us be us. I don’t see why an adult can’t have the freedom to use any drug the same way alchol is stay home and not leave or drive. If they don’t let it affect people around them. I’m not trying to support drugs. I think drugs are bad um kay, but i don’t see why they let the dumbasses ruin it for everyone. I’m gonna write a fuck you all on my voting ballot 2012 and write my owns shit on there. I’m tired of them telling us who or what we can vote on. There arent ever any good canidates so I’ll write in my own.

I’ve said this before and I feel impelled to point it out again… Disinfo.com has been infiltrated by COINTELPRO’s and/or COMMIES.  I come to this conclusion b/c I see comment after comment making statements about Ron Paul’s beliefs that are not only a LIE, they are basically the exact opposite of what he really believes.  I’m sorry but whether or not you agree with all of Ron Paul’s principles you cannot deny his logic when it comes to the War on Drugs…  hundreds of millions of people smoke weed every day in this country (and others) and get behind the wheel.  NEVER, do you hear reports of accidents where the driver who caused the accident was found to be under the influence of Marijuana (which can be detected quite easily by blood and urine tests).  And you know the way the media sensationalizes everything in this country if this happened it would be front page news!
