The U.S. Congress is considering America’s first system for censoring the Internet. Despite public outcry, the Internet Censorship bill could pass at any time. If it does, the Internet and free speech will never be the same, here’s why:

    And so it came to pass that the last bastion of free speech and expression was leashed and muzzled, and the united states lost its last remaining shreds of legitimacy, and the people rose, and burned the imperial capital to the ground, and yea did all the other fortresses of unwarranted and undeserved power smolder into that good night, and those that claimed to deserve monopoly of power and the right to rule over others were smote in the ruins, and a new dawn rose for the people who cast off the chains of institution, and hieararchy, and those ghosts of men and women who fought for so long and so long ago to gain freedom from oppression and coercion looked on, and called it good.

    now copies all China’s ideas about governing:
    no right to privacy
    no right to assemble in protest
    and now
    a censored internet
    The People’s Republic of Der Homeland

    In God we trust
    everyone else is under surveillance.
