    Thanks for posting this bit of ‘Golden Oldy’ Americana, Disinformation!

    Normally I’d get a bit worried about strange men dressed head to foot in red breaking into my home at night.  Especially if he’s leaving “presents” for strangers’ children.

    But short of Saint Nick smackin’ a Kardashian on the ass with a leering grin, havin’ him light up a smoke is the next best thing to a cameo on “Madmen”.  I can now rest assued that this mythological figure is a real ‘Merican, hetero straight shooter and not some deviant wealth redistributor.  Whew!

    I love the lucky strike picture, they’ve gone to the trouble of giving him a nicotine stained beard – and his red face gives an image of someone who is also partial to a bottle of whiskey for breakfast.  Yup, that’s the Santa Claus I know and love – can be found sleeping on a park bench in many cities.
