The Obama Kill Order On Ron Paul Conspiracy Theory

TinFoilHat002You gotta love the Internet for its ability to spread spurious stories far and wide (don’t forget to call your Congressman to stop SOPA). From Examiner.com:

A crazy conspiracy theory making its way around the web claims that President Obama has issued a “kill order” against GOP Presidential candidate Ron Paul.

The theory was published at the European Union Times, which claims:

The Federal Security Service (“secret letter” sent to Prime Minister Putin by Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda contains a warning that United States President Barack Obama has issued an executive-level “kill order” against US Congressman Ron Paul over fears this charismatic politician, who many believe could capture the Republican Presidential 2012 nomination, is about to expose to all Americans what can only be described as the largest mass theft in human history

The article, which cites the Russian Federal Security Service with no corroborating evidence, has been linked on a number of sites, including The Daily Paul, a website that advocates the Paul candidacy.  Google returned several links mentioning the claim at the Paul site, but one is currently not working…

    You know it’s a fake, they called Ron Paul “charismatic.” I think he’s a rare honest politician, has some good ideas, is a radical libertarian, but doesn’t have much charm.

    The “EU Times” is complete disnfo…No offense Disinfo. But anything put out by that site or “Sorcha Faal” is complete and utter nonsense, desinged to obfuscate the real story.

    I think the more compelling story is Ron Paul’s secret campaign to undermine Ron Paul by spewing a bunch of irrelevant nonsense.  The pseudo-libertarian over-reliance on discredited corporate institutions to rectify the problems they created does cast rather a pall over the otherwise laudatory statements about dismantling the police state and counterproductive foreing interventions.

    I’m not much given to conspiratorial thinking myself.  So I really doubt that the CIA replaced Ron in 2006 with a body double grown in a test tube in a covert lab in Brazil.

    This story was my first exposure to Sorcha Faal. I followed all the source links and wound up on her/his site. Yikes! Lunatic fringe is putting it mildly. I also followed the information regarding an “attack” by Jeff Rense at rense.com on Sorcha. LOL, the unjustified mellodrama was worthy of any soap opera (the “attack” was Rense saying Sorcha Faal was an anagram for “as of Rachal”; wow tough words there ;-) ).

    Agree 100% with Skeldenstza: anything from, or related to Sorcha Faal, is trash.

    Anyone who thinks Ron Paul has a chance in the election either knows nothing about how elections in the US work, or has not been paying any attention to the current election.

    I have done some research.  The ONLY facts in this article that can be verified as truth are:

    1.  The marine mentioned, that story is 100% true.
    2.  The current presidential cabinet and newly installed leadership of Italy and Greece are all former bankers.
    3.  The woman named  Tracey Lawrence was under subpoena and was found dead of suicide.
    4.  A partial audit of the Federal Reserve does only shows 15 trillion that was secretly loaned and only 5 trillion of that went to foreign banks (a full audit is currently being pushed for by Paul).
    5.  The mainstream media has in fact ignored Paul’s wins and placement in the polls.  Even polling second has yet to be called a “front runner” which is odd.
    6.  The new law is true, a 900 page bill allowing the detention of american citizens without warrant or due cause to be proven, that is verifiable.
    7.  The cessation of the arm treaty is fact, but american media linked it to destruction of nuclear lauch sites placed in poland.
    8.  The warning from General Makarov of Russia is verifiable in Russian media.

    Only eight facts out of nine in this article are true, the other is probably completely bogus.  Obama is one of the greatest presidents in recent history.  He should not be blamed for what Bush left him.  He has worked hard to help fix America and things ARE getting better.  The troops are coming home as he promised (well currently there are 30,000 more overseas than when he started, but that too is not his fault and he will bring them home this time like he said).   The national debt is going down…well that’s not true, but as an Obama fan I will say it anyway.  And the unemployment is going down, over time people run out of benefits and are no longer counted as being unemployed, as time goes on, this number will shrink even more; plus, it’s the holidays and there is seasonal employment.

    why can’t paul be 15 years younger?  his message of liberty, individual’s rights and civil libertarianism will continue on after his retirement from politics and the public eye.  the question is whether his son rand can carry the torch after his father’s departure from the scene.
