Was Blagojevich Arrested On Corruption Charges After Going Up Against Bank of America?

Site’ editor’s note: Former Illinois Governor Rob Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years this week after being convicted of a wide range of corruption charges, including the allegation that he tried to sell the Senate seat vacated by President Obama.

You won’t see the talking head presttitutes discussing the fact that former Governor Rob Blagojevich was arrested exactly one day after he announced he was “…asking all Illinois government agencies to suspend business with Bank of America”

Here’s Rod Blagojevich uncensored on We Are Change Chicago:

I do believe he was! You don’t mess with the Banks [the 1%]. Thats why we really went to war with Libya and Iraq. Both countries had just chosen not to deal in the American $ or Euro. only in gold and other precious metals and oil.

He’s right!  Look it up.  Gaddafi was a major supporter of the new gold backed African currency ( gold dinar ).  Funny how we couldn’t show Osama Bin Laden’s body on television, but EVERYONE say Gaddafi beaten/tortured.

  3. and please lets not forget Elliot Spitzer talking ill of the federal reserve only to realize too late that getting your dick sucked by a stranger is much more damaging to the country.

Elliot Spitzer was a public official who knowingly violated the law. End of story.

    • Spitzer was doing the very thing he was taking down and making public in NYC before his election. However if your talking about why, well more of it has to do with Bruno if anything. However I would never rule out his comments on the federal reserve as one of the many reasons the dominos fell..

He was caught on tape trying to sell a Senate seat. End of story.

  6. Even the source article at prisonplanettv/infowars mentions that his (Blago’s) comments at the time were quite a bit milder than ‘demanding a suspension of business’. At least they acknowledge a high likelihood that Blago is actually guilty…since Chicago politicians (including the one in the Oval Office) are NOT widely known for their high moral standards. Basically the headline amounts to an unfounded rumor with no evidence except circumstantial timing.

Not that I expect thoroughness or clarity…this is infowars we’re talking about here…the only thing that catches me off guard is that they’ve shifted tone just enough to suggest in an article that wealthy bankers (not Communo-socialist-globalist-Kenyan-reptilian-liberals) are inclined to use influence to crush opposition.

Makes me wonder if even old Alex has smelled the change in the wind and realized that neo-con goldbugs are too small a niche to pander to and expect relevance or respect.

the question is why was he caught. he was guilty, no doubt about that but in chicago politics criminal behavior is a prerequisite. he would still be governor if he didn’t ruffle feathers of the behind the scenes machine bosses

I know, sometimes i feel alex jones has been planted by the establishment to discredit alot of the true corruption and conspiracies that exist out there. He lumps them altogether with his bullshit and alot of people dont end up believing any of it.

People need to start educating themselves and they’ll pay alot less attention to infowars and pay more attention to sites like this one and democracynow.org and chomsky.info etc.

        • I can’t say I’ve ever paid much attention to him, but from what I have seen; he’s loud, arrogant and probably believes the alien shapshifters from Mars are conspiring to assassinate him….
The first time I saw him he was having an interview with Peter Joseph and came accross as an ignorant muppet compared to a well thoughtout individual.

I believe you’re right when you say he discredits alot of the true conspiracies, and it wouldn’t surprise me if he was getting a fat pay cheque by those who want them to be discredited. (sounds like a conspiracy inside a conspiracy)

Cheers for the extra reading material too buddy!

          • I would say everyone should actually watch and listen to him, then do research, and then present an informed opinion with sources.  We have to up our mental games if we expect to change things.  “You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it” -Albert Einstein.

The surest path to mental freedom is the Trivium (triviumeducation.org)  If you want to know how the elite’s have dumbed everyone down intentionally and exorcise the mental viruses that prevent authentic understanding or comprehension than by all means check the above link, do your homework and respond having updated your mental firewalls.

I’m not saying Alex is perfect, but I don’t see anyone else repeatedly discussing the most crucial topics on his scale, with his reach and if you have problems with it, please provide more than just an opinion based on emotive oversimplifications.

I would love to see Amy Goodman and Noam Chomsky EVEN MENTION BUILDING 7.  Let’s be honest about standard bearing for interpreting reality.  If you can ignore the smoking gun of 9/11 though it has been documented as having been brought to your attention on numerous occasions, then what else can you willfully ignore???

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=099BssyN_D4

          • I think you might have gotten the wrong idea, I for one don’t believe in the “official” story of 9/11, and I came to that conclusion without knowing of Jones’ existance, and to be honest if someone used him as a source to try convince me that 9/11 was an inside job, I wouldn’t take them seriously.

You’re right, perhaps he is a good stepping stone to start your own research into the conspiracies he talks about, but that man does my head in, can’t stand more than five miniutes of him.

Perhaps there is some sort of global conspiracy going on, but what can we really do? Knowing what’s happening is one thing, being able to do something about it is something very different.

        • Chomsky won’t talk about 9/11, The Fed, shit he even follows the party line on JFK.   He contradicts his own famed exhortations of the need for intellectual honesty in academia by ignoring the crucial nature of the crimes of all of the aforementioned topics.  I say this having read my share of Chomsky (at least 5 of his books and countless articles, videos, and interviews)

Here is an excerpt of explaining perhaps why this is the case from ‘The Fate of an Honest Intellectual’ (I understand we have to choose our battles….I’m no Chomsky, but I can still tell you the Truth about 9/11)

“Well, he got back one answer, from me. I told him, yeah, I think it’s an interesting topic, but I warned him, if you follow this, you’re going to get in trouble—because you’re going to expose the American intellectual community as a gang of frauds, and they are not going to like it, and they’re going to destroy you. So I said: if you want to do it, go ahead, but be aware of what you’re getting into. It’s an important issue, it makes a big difference whether you eliminate the moral basis for driving out a population—it’s preparing the basis for some real horrors—so a lot of people’s lives could be at stake. But your life is at stake too, I told him, because if you pursue this, your career is going to be ruined.”  http://www.chomsky.info/books/power01.htm

(Chomsky did teach me to use folks on sources against them 😉

Democracynow is funded by the Ford Foundation and is therefore an extension of project mockingbird via CIA financial underwriting.  They Champion themselves as bastions of freedom of speech and of representing different perspectives on controversial issues.  Amy Goodman will tell the same story at every speech.  DN featured many anti-war voices in the buildup to the war in Iraq, but mainstream media only featured 3 people who would be considered anti- war in their coverage out of 400 ‘experts’..

To highligh the contrast between DN and main stream media.  The problem is when it comes to debating ‘climate change’ or even The FED.  No discussion is allowed as apparently there is no debate from the perspective of DN.  If you can prove me wrong please find any example that refutes this claim.  I have only ever heard DN pronounce that ‘Climate Change’ formerly known as Global Warming or AGW for the scientists is never seriously questioned as to it’s legitimacy whatsoever.  Cap and Tax is never linked back to Generation Investment Management (owned by Al Gore and David Blood of Goldman and Sachs)  Can it be said that they are impartial or objective in light of such staggering omissions?

This all falls within the pattern of divide and conquer,  maintaining the False Left/Right paradigm and though they do cover some topics well, they are lying by omission for ideologies sake apparently.

I’d advise you look beyond emotional appeals to ridicule and focus on the merit of the information being discussed. People attempt to ridicule Alex for trivial reasons, but I ask you, who else predicted 9/11, Talks about Building 7, OKC, The Fed, The Bin Laden Hoax etc on their show??

          • If Alex didn’t talk about these conspiracies then he wouldn’t have much of a show would he?

    • Who can say 100% unless they were present in the courtroom?  I would offer that it’s likely given the nature of Chicago politics that he could be guilty, at the same time it is interesting to note that he was willing to stand up to BOA and the FED around this same period, especially considering it was one day before that he made this declaration.  Maybe he got a tip off and decided to play martyr, who knows.  Either way, it’s not exactly something you would hear from mainstream media.  Say what you will about Alex and Co.  You don’t exactly see stories like this on CNN.  In fact what you get is talking heads basically playing into the 2 minute hate script to demonize whomever they are told to demonize.  In so doing we miss the bigger picture.  Nobody is saying “Blago” is a saint.  But when even Governors are powerless to stop Banks from defrauding their state’s citizens, well it’s just another sign that serious consideration should be given to who is really in control in our Country *Cough* Federal Reserve *Cough* Excuse me.  Oh and anybody think it was interesting that he was given the “Active Thermitic Material Discovered In Dust From 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe”??  Kind of a Big Deal.  Remember kids, that is the Unchallenged Peer Reviewed Paper displaying conclusive evidence of nanothermite in the dust from all Three towers on 9/11.  Add all of the points discussed in the video and you gotta give the We Are Change Chicago squad some props for doing some real street journalism/activism here.

      • Uh yeah it is…. I am gonna side with allthepowerintheworld considering the fact that Blagojevich was up for 23 counts. Yes he was only convicted of 14.  That’s a year for each count.  It is also highly probable that he will serve it in a ‘country club ‘ facility.  I say he got off pretty easy.  In fact he will only serve a portion of that since the offense was non-violent in nature. The rest will be some stupid home detention program or minimum security facility.

  42. Blago was guilty of corruption, but it wasn’t just that that got him where he’s heading. He was also inept beyond belief and obstructive as well.

I remember how he held the public transit agencies hostage until the state legislature passed his “Free Ride For Seniors” promise. He was also known to hide away whenever anyone wanted to meet with him – usually concerning budgetary issues.

Remember, we’re talking about a guy so inept that he got voted out by the legislature. Not just impeached (charged), but voted out and barred from holding office by the vast majority of the Representatives and Senators of Illinois.

Thing is, if he’d taken care of business and kept things friendly he would probably have been allowed to retire from office – like the last few Illinois Governors. But he was impeached and voted out. That’s how bad that guy was.

A few words against the Banks isn’t going to change that.

I would say everyone should actually watch and listen to him, then do research, and then present an informed opinion with sources.

  52. i watched the live broadcast on msnbc of the Gov. standing with the employees who were not being paid money owed to them because BOA would not help the company cover payroll. Yhe Gpv. announced that he would pull state bank accounts from BOA. The next morning, I turned on MSNBC to see the Gov. in handcuffs.

I think you might have gotten the wrong idea, I for one don’t believe in the “official” story of 9/11, and I came to that conclusion without knowing of Jones’ existance, and to be honest if someone used him as a source to try convince me that 9/11 was an inside job, I wouldn’t take them seriously.

If Alex didn’t talk about these conspiracies then he wouldn’t have much of a show would he?

We already know that story. The story here folks, is that corporations routinely seek to get criminals elected because they can blackmail them latter to keep them in line. Why would they pay millions to a politician whom they can no longer control once they get elected. Of course once elected that politicians has lot’s of access to the public to continue to get elected, it called incumbent advantage.
So the criminal attempted to go against those paid to get him elected because he felt he could gain short term political advantage and they quite simply outed him for the crook he is and was, excluding of course anything that would incriminate other insiders.

He’s right!  Look it up.  Gaddafi was a major supporter of the new gold backed African currency ( gold dinar ).  Funny how we couldn’t show Osama Bin Laden’s body on television, but EVERYONE say Gaddafi beaten/tortured.
