Hollywood Stars Sign On For 9/11 Truth Film

violation of trustHoward Cohen writes for Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth:

A Violation of Trust” (formerly titled “Confession of a 9/11 Conspirator”) is a feature film project that is willing to do what the world’s governments and legal bodies are unwilling to do – open a real investigation of 9/11 for the entire world to see. It dramatizes the first day of “The President’s New Investigation of 9/11”, with actors performing from a tightly-written, factually-accurate script that pits the 9/11 Commission Report and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Reports against the work of 9/11 researcher Dr. David Ray Griffin and the scientific research highlighted by leading 9/11 truth organizations, including Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth.

The filming of “A Violation of Trust” will be performed on a single set, depicting the investigation’s public hearing room. The single-set approach provides the most intense platform for the actors and the script to involve the audience. The film’s compelling drama, forceful images and real-time video clips will be woven into its often contentious question-and-answer dialogue to create opportunities for conflicting views that will be argued both passionately and in a scientific and logical manner.

The list of actors that have signed on to this film includes:

A dozen additional actors will be added to the ensemble cast…

Judd Nelson is still a person?

That depends on how much ontological credibility you’re willing to give a bit character from a mediocre Kevin Smith film

That doesn’t change the fact that an orangutan is from the Great Ape family–it’s not a monkey!

  5. Another positive development in the ongoing pursuit of justice and peace.  If only more Americans were as concerned about justice, as they were about their egos…

Great to see Woody Harrelson on that list, considering his dad was a professional hitman who confessed to shooting JFK.

  7. Best idea ever!

In an effort to avoid the toxic atmosphere these stories generate in the comments section, I will completely skip the part when I talk shit about A & E for Truth.  You’re welcome.

Moving on, I think watching this get developed will be very interesting for a number of reasons.  The Truth movement is seen as a fringe group mostly full of let’s simply say “conspiracy enthusiasts”, and I’m interested to see what will happen when the film and thus the movement get more attention, something the Truth movement has been desperately trying to accomplish for quite some time now. Attention from the unwashed masses, that is, but its also likely that it may draw attention from various branches of the Federal Government.  How that attention manifests itself is something I will be waiting to see.

If this film is actually made, I don’t think the Truth movement in its current form will survive all the attention it could potentially get.  I think it may change, which is also something for which I plan to be watching.

Thank you Tuna, for avoiding the conflagration I expected. I think…as bad as it sounds, all sides of the debate are tired of it…probably because no matter what who when or why…..the results have been clearly bad…is there a single segment of society besides “plutocrats” that are pleased with the course of events…..seriously anyone????

    • The Truth movement will do more than “survive”.  It is sure to thrive as more and more Americans learn about a little thing called Building 7.

      • Jin The Ninja | Jan 23, 2012 at 11:22 am |

what tuna i think is saying, is that it will evolve past the alex jones NWO nutcase-iness and towards something legitimate and critically minded. everyone knows that building 7 was some shady bizness, but the people who branded 9-11 ‘truth’ -in truth turn people away in droves. not many americans, looking at the current state of affairs, want to embrace more reich wing talking points based on so-called paleo-conservative ‘constitutionality’… barry goldwater alex jones is not.

        • It’s more than “shady bizness” Jin.  It’s a smoking gun.  I don’t know why you insist on mischaracterizing the movement (like Tuna).  Keep in mind Tuna has been hounding Truth activists for years with the same garbage of mischaracterization, and slander while also misrepresenting the facts.  Obviously he has a massive bias and dare I say agenda.
The Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth are obviously a very diverse group of professionals and volunteers from all levels of life.  They dont’ conform to your biased presumptions nor tuna’s.  Thus your basically advocating that the media’s portrayal of all ‘truthers’ as right wing nutjobs is false and discredited.
Building 7 is awakening even the crustiest of third eyes.  Also how do you know what “many Americans” are doing?  Do you canvas?  Do you talk to “many Americans”?  Do you perform polls?

Perhaps you should do some research and investigate those who do.
          Here it took 5 seconds

Notice that is a CNN poll.  89% of Americans believe there is a cover up.  Would you define that as “many American’s”?

          • Jin The Ninja | Jan 23, 2012 at 2:01 pm |

CAMRON, you are doing to me EXACTLY what you accuse TUNA of- insisting i am OPPOSING you WHEN I AGREE with you.

I AM NOT saying ALL TRUTHERS are right wing nutcases, WHAT I AM SAYING, is THAT ALEX JONES INC, has TURNED PEOPLE like ME WHO LEGITIMATELY QUESTION the official events away from being part of the movement!

READ WHAT I AM WRITING, not what you are ascribing to ME. i am NOT saying tuna does or does not do what you say, but that has NOTHING to do with WHAT I AM SAYING.

I sincerely believe there was a cover-up on a mass scale, the truth remains unknown , the official version of events is a complete LIE.

Please, READ what i am writing. I AGREE WITH YOU.

But Jones and CO turns people away, it turned me away, turned thousands of people AWAY from publically voicing their criticisms of the event and or official story.

          • I find it interesting that you got so turned off by the conspiracy fringe element about 9-11 that you chose not to align and involve yourself with a movement that supports your beliefs.  I wonder if this is more about you than the people who ‘turned you off’?

Any position/belief/theory that runs counter to the popular narrative is going to be attacked.  When it comes to big events like 9-11, even with facts in hand, the attack is going to always be to label the protestors as conspiracy theorists whacky nut jobs.  It’s a very easy way to discredit people.  The thing is to realize that that is a predictible response even if the evidence supports the alternative ideas.  You and I and anyone else who believes in the 9-11 truth positions (or most of them anyway) will have to decide whether we want the responsibility of taking on that kind of attack and living with it knowing that you’re on the side of truth or not.

I don’t judge or blame you for not being a part of 9-11 truth but to say that it’s the whack jobs on the fringe that have tarnished the movement which is why you are not a part of it, kind of reveals your naivete. Facts are facts and the truth is on the side of those who fall more in line with the 9-11 truth movement.  Whether they will ever get their proper airing on a mass level that has a real impact will be interesting to see.

I didn’t choose to NOT align myself with counter-narrative of truth, in fact, the opposite, since i just revealed in the above post, that i, supported many of it’s suppositions. I also have a lot of activist counter narratives to choose from, and am not limited by a singular issue, i would rather be holistic in my approach to politics and activism and take personal stock of what is the most important to me.

Alex Jones and CO, officially or unoffically is by and large the mouthpiece of and for 9-11 truth.

The larger picture is quite clear, at least to me.

whatever happened on 9-11 is clearly a symptom of the ails and ills of globalisation, capitalism and so-called western democracy. From whatever narrative one derives truth from, that much is apparent. Treating it as a sole cause, or some kind of foundational crack is illogical and mis directed at best.

          • Jin, you stated outright that you didn’t join 9-11 truth because of branding of truthers,
“WHAT I AM SAYING, is THAT ALEX JONES INC, has TURNED PEOPLE like ME WHO LEGITIMATELY QUESTION the official events away from being part of the movement!”
What I was trying to respond to, without the emotion, is that the popular narrative will always label the counternarrarators as conspiracy theorists and it should be expected. It should also not influence your decision to join up if you feel motivated to…or not…I don’t care either way.
The rest of your last post I agree with.

          • Jin The Ninja | Jan 23, 2012 at 3:49 pm |

i should have clarified, and perhaps offer you an apology for taking your response personally.

the fact that people who oppose mainstream convention or narrative are labeled dissenters, or conspiracy theorists does not bother me one bit.

in fact i don’t mind being thought of as subversive.

alex j. bothers me simply because of his politics, his rhetoric, his tone, his persona. all of it.

i just simply cannot join” a movement that i see as merely (not that it isn’t important or to diminish it) contesting what happened that day, rather than contesting the bigger picture.

and if i were to join the ‘truth movement’ i would immedietly be co opted by the politics of jones and co to which i am opposed. it would be problematic on many different levels.

          • Fair enough.  Cheers.

          • I would say conflating “Alex Jones” and the “Truth Movement” with “Architects & Engineers” is just a silly way to say I can’t be bothered with understanding diversity amidst shared awareness.

Come on, I get it, you don’t like AJ.  Fine.
You are the only person who brought him up??
You understand that it is you where this is coming from right?

Do you see AJ mentioned anywhere in the article at all?

          • Jin The Ninja | Jan 23, 2012 at 2:04 pm |

PS, just as future reference `shady bizness`was my way of NOT provoking a snarky debate (making wit of something heavy i suppose), it did not lessen the connotation. Shady MEANS dark, subversive, immoral behaviour. it`s not a compliment.

  9. That’s an amazingly bad movie poster.

  10. Typical liberal America haters

  11. I find it hard to believe that Hollywood will make anything other than a government propaganda flick.
