Fluoride: The Hard to Swallow Truth

    So bottled water is bad for various reasons, and tap water and toothpaste has flouride in it.  WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DRINK?

      Get your water purified.  Various ways to do so.  Reverse Osmosis to get the fluoride out and various other methods to remineralize it.  It takes a little discipline but you can avoid the toxins.  More folks are offering alternatives because of the growing awareness.  Most Whole Foods have RO filters available.  Good luck.

      Even on tubes of toothpaste, it says to call Poison Control or seek medical help if you swallow toothpaste, because sodium fluoride is poisonous.

          Fluoride suppresses the endocrine system - and was used to treat overactive thyroids The problem doesn’t show up immediately – it takes time (just like asbestos and lead paint). The symptoms of fluoride poisoning are the same as hypothyroid – weight gain, (think about the rise of obesity), low metabolism, thinning hair and eyebrows, dry skin, carpal tunnel, etc. It also lowers IQ and makes bones brittle, and is extremely bad for those with kidney problems. Not only can it cause nasty brown spots on teeth, but can increase bone cancer risk, among other things. It is recommended that no children under 5 years old ingest fluoride.
          Think of the last time you went to a dentist – did the hygienist tell you to swallow the fluoride treatment? They say DO NOT swallow!
          Why would anybody think it’s OK to mass-dose an entire population without regard to their medical needs? Would it be fine it it were xanax?

      Its toxic waste “legally” converted into a “product” by the act of selling it. It is also the key ingredient in some Rat Poisons.

    2) if you can’t do that then get a good water filter

      make sure your bottle doesn’t have BPA in it.  Sadly most filters ( like Brita) doesn’t remove fluoride ;[

         I use Reverse Osmosis  water and remineralize  it with Himalayan salt or Celtic sea salt and store it in glass or food grade stainless steel water bottle

     Sodium Fluoride was once used to kill silverfish & roaches. — No thanks. I’m really fortunate to have a place that does reverse osmosis water, and i just fill up every month or so. Its difficult to completely remove it as you’ll get fast food or beverages with fluoridated water. but there are plenty of states that  have decided to let people choose their own medications. I’m looking up what they did to get that on the books.

    Simply put. The toothpaste tube says to call poison control if you swallow more than a pea size amount. Know why children’s training paste is safe for kids to swallow as they learn how to brush their teeth? Because it’s missing one ingredient…..FLUORIDE!
