Mysterious Metal Boxes Found On West Coast Beaches?

maskoABraysboxStrange, large things always seem to have a way of washing ashore. A series of extremely heavy, seamless metal boxes have been spotted buried in the coastal sand, HULIQ claims:

Metal boxes are still appearing as of Feb. 8 up and down West Coast beaches. They can’t be moved; even when yanked by a four-wheel drive truck pulling on heavy chains tied around.

As of late afternoon Feb. 8, Bill Hanshumaker, a public marine specialist and (Ph.D) doctor of marine science at the Hatfield Marine Science Center in nearby Newport, told Huliq in an interview that, “I don’t know what they are.” In turn, Doctor Hanshumaker said he’s advised “surf monitoring” about these strange metal boxes that suddenly appeared along local beaches Feb. 6, and now seem to be multiplying. The photograph that accompanies this report of yet another strange metal box stuck in the surf up is one of a possible group of a dozen or more that have been sited up and down West Coast beaches. Meanwhile, the British government also photographed similar huge metal boxes on beaches in Sri Lanka in the late 1990’s and in early 2004 and 2005. When asked if he’s ever heard of anything like these huge metal boxes, with no opening or seam, Doctor Hanshumaker would not comment or speculate on the record. Instead, this marine science expert has for photos of the boxes and size and coloring details.

  1. Maybe they are big gigantic nails to hold the coast together?

doesn’t seem to be mainstream in their local media so I’ll leave it as hoax.

    •  Do you ignore where local media gets its news from? If you ran a local media you have to be carefull not to publish anything that would make the bigger media frown upon; in fact, you have to ran your local media as a disciplined franchise or face ostracism, or worse.

      • well put!

I was kind of hoping this was tied into the strange sounds reported on Disinfo  and that maybe a UFO was actually being uncovered as a ship for all the 99% to go onto and fly off and be happy and stuff.

  2. Those might be the black boxes of ufos that crashed on the ocean; the fact that this information is not mainstream in the local media – wich behaves exactly as the countrywide media (go check “You are beeing lied to”) -, makes me think in government´s coverup.

ROFL!!!! I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. WOW. Alien mammoths and what not. B.T.W. Amilcar, you can’t spell to save your life. Thanks for the laugh though, really enjoyed this. Men in black, blurry mammoth looking aliens. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Well if one pops up ’round here I’ll let y’all know. Maybe we could cut one open. But then, it might contain some nasty nuclear waste or something… A conundrum.

    The invasion begins…

…Remember how War of the Worlds started.

Mysterious pods appeared in fields around the country…

Get ready to head for the hills!

    • Haven´t you realized that humanity has been slaved by metal cubes for five centuries? Look arround: they are everywhere.

      • Orson Wells | Feb 15, 2012 at 2:34 pm |

All part of the preconditioning process. The aliens taught us how to build TVs and computers so we would be comfortable with metal cubes…

…then come the cubes on the beach as trojan horses…

        …THEN WE ALL DIE!!!!

    •  I live in the hills so i’ll just stay put ta!

  5. Has anyone tried calling Doctor Hanshumaker?

    •  Try his email if you like ( but I bet the men in black have already visited him.

  6.  I have finally put toghether the pieces of this intricate puzzle, thanks to the insight of Jemima´s asparagous: the aproaching photon storm is activating the arcane technology hidden at plain sight in the piramids: they are sending a disrupting signal to bears and fishes DNA, mixing them to shape monstrous soldiers similar to blurry mammoths. Gobernment´s silence on this matter was necesary to prevent panic: but Obama is sending war drones to CHANGE the situation as we speak.

  7. Sounds like a Donald Judd minimalist art installation.  I’m surprised nowhere in these articles is that speculated on.

  8. This article is a hoax. Read comments on the Huliq page

That’s a really poorly written article.

  11. @Rowen_Windsong recently tweeted that this story has been debunked here:

    • Debunking or cover up? It’s anyone’s guess, but I think the boxes are safely kept in secret military bases.

If this is real, how are the metal cubes determined to be hollow “boxes?”

If this is real, why haven’t the authorities just drilled the fuck inside one of them? Get professional people to examine them and dig them out of the ground instead of just “monitoring them.” Either this is complete balls, or people are really that fucking inept.

Yes!!! Howabout MUFON, x-ray (portable), and a great big ol crane. If all else fails how about some dynomite.

  14. Those are used up energy blocks UFOs discarded. They have an agreement with the USA and powers that be to make sure they are inert and safe.  But they were not supposed to float, they were supposed to sink to the bottom and never be seen. Wooopss.

  19. They are Prothean beacons. Don’t anybody touch them or the Reapers will be summoned.

  20. sad, but the newport news times reported no boxes have been seen by any of the locals.  I was up for some excitement in our quiet coastal community….guess not.
According to the paper…Prof Hanschumacker never saw the boxes and did not say he did…sounds like he just answered s few hypothetical questions by the orriginal reporter.

Someone told me they are Tesla Harmonic resonators. The Cabal
never waste a good disaster and have known about the coming whatever is to come
for a while. He said these boxes cause harmonic shifts in the ground which will
intensify “the event” when it is meant to happen. Critical Mass is approaching
    he says.

However.. According to William Hanshumaker, a Ph.D. public marine education specialist at the Hatfield Marine Science Center in nearby Newport, the theory now – after investigating these strange metal boxes for the past two weeks – is “the boxes on the beach are merely floats that were originally built to support docks.”

While Doctor Hanshumaker and other local marine science experts stated their conclusion Feb. 17 that – after reviewing photos, interviews and actually looking at some of the strange metal boxes along beaches near Bray’s Point – that they believe at least some of these “boxes” are possibly parts of docks. In turn, Doctor Hanshumaker noted in reply to a Huliq media query that “after a recent flooding event, some docks were destroyed and their floats drifted downriver and subsequently deposited on the beach. A colleague from a local state agency had the opportunity to examine one and confirmed this explanation.” At the same time, those locals — who first mentioned seeing “these mysterious metal boxes” in previous Huliq reports — say Doctor Hanshumaker’s scientific theory may hold water for him and other marine scientists who study West Coast beach debris, but “what about the other boxes that can’t easily be explained away?”

    • Choffman74 | Feb 27, 2012 at 5:41 am |

The “They”r always explaining away strange phenomenons. Its not always a weather balloon, and these may not be dock parts.

  23. Thanks guys. I needed a good laugh!
