Somebody get this guy a teleprompter; he keeps talking about living in a free society and peace and dismantling the federal reserve and the military industrial complex and ending the war on drugs….

  1. It doesn’t matter who ends up in office, they never have any bearing on what really goes on. They merely act as faces for the public. Give the illusion that there is a democracy; that the people actually have a say. It’s all an elaborate and well fabricated illusion.

“dismantling the federal reserve and the military industrial complex and ending the war on drugs…”

And the EPA, Dept of Education, public transportation, programs for the poor and virtually all regulations on industry. Oh, boy, it’s gonna be awesome when Uncle Ronnie comes to town with all the Ayn Rand psychos in tow, jumping at his every word. We’ll all get ponies and free Skittles!

  3. As President & Commander-in-Chief Ron Paul can do one thing: end the wars and bring the troops home. That is the new start this country needs and Obama is clearly not the guy to make that happen.

right on. he can then pardon all non-violent drug offenders, appoint a new fed chairman, propose bills to repeal NDAA, the patriot act, the tsa, etc. and vow to veto any bill until congress agrees to pass his.

  4. @28 min …. What quiet remnant clinging to “Economic and Religious Truths” and coming alive is he talking about?

…and he wants to do away with the 17th Amendment, all foreign aid including disaster relief, and nearly all domestic disaster relief. He wants to go back to the gold standard, toss out civil rights laws, and let wealth and power be the determiners of everything. Papa Doc also hangs out with anti-Semites and white supremacists. He claims that the 8-page newsletter that went out over his name, filled with racist sentiments, was never written, read or edited by him, not in ten years. He worships Ayn Rand, who admired the psychopathic murderer of a 12-year old. C. Montgomery Burns would be better presidential material.

  6. Ron Paul’s dementia must be flaring up. He forgot nobody cares and gave an over 9000 hour long speech.

    • Really? Nobody cares?   I wish you could tell that to these veterans:

It’d be interesting to see what they’d do to you.

What was the last cause you marched for?

      • Calypso_1 | Feb 21, 2012 at 5:34 pm |

If I remember correctly Mr. Heth last marched through some Haji doors for our Commander-N-Chief.  What exactly would you like to see these vets do?  Are you calling for violence in support for your candidate?

        • Not at all, sorry for the perceived implication — plus, support a candidate who advocates for non-aggression.

You Ron Paul supporters are no different than the Obama fervor less than four years ago.  Wake up!  If he was such a “renegade”, why would he be a member of the corrupted two party system?  A rethuglican no less?  Mr. Limited Government’s biggest campaign donor is a Bilderberger.  He is a John Bircher through and through (extreme right if you don’t know your Texas History).  Wake up, you honestly believe he is going to do all these wonderful things?  How delusional are you people?  The whole system is rigged, right from the get-go.  If Ronnie is part of the system, he’s part of the problem in my book.  If you want true change, start by changing YOUR world.  Don’t rely on a demagogue of all things.  Shit, you would think we have learned our lesson by now.

    •  The easiest way to fool someone is to tell them what they want to hear.  If a politician consistently says things you agree with, that politician is the one you must be most wary of.

  8. If our youth opt-out of Medicare, which they would if they could & which Ron Paul supports, it will defund the program, killing it.

  9. Also RP supports the Citizens United decision as well as completely deregulating mega-corporations & Wall Street!

    • If all these mega corporations like him so much, how come they don’t support/fund him and he speaks out against them and call for the prosecution of their heads?  How come he was against the bailouts?  Why does mainstream media hate him, cut him off, and refuse to give him the time of day.  Why are you so in favor of federal programs when local and state ones can be just as effective?  Did you know that RP is a big Jefferson fan?

    • Ron Paul – Corporations are not people:

  10. After RP abolishes the EPA & you’re dying from being poisoned by a mega-corporation, his solution is for you to just sue the mega-corporation.
He also wants healthcare insurance to be totally deregulated too, so when you get poisoned they’ll dump you so you can die a Libertarian death.

  11. Ron Paul is member of John Birch Society, founded by Fred Koch of Koch Industries!
He’s also a fan of the GOP’s goddess of greed, Ayn Rand –

    • Nice link to a blog.  I can’t find any mention of him being a member of the john birch society. Can you provide a link to that info, since you’re so good at providing links.  Also, did you watch the video — do you understand what he is saying?
Here’s a democratic head of the JBS — do you agree with anything he has to say?

Speaking about funds — who’s funding the Obama campaign?   Who’s funding all the BS that you spew?

  12. Ron Paul: Abolish minimum wage to ‘help poor people’

The only war Ron Paul will continue is the war on women’s rights.

    • Can you please explain what you mean?  How is Ron Paul perpetuaing a war on women’s rights? He’s against the war on the drugs, the actual wars aborad…
