Rick Santorum doesn’t like the way you have sex. Dan Amira explains at New York Mag’s Daily Intel:

When it comes to the life choices married women make, Rick Santorum does his best to portray himself as a crusader for tolerance. A passage in his 2005 book It Takes a Family — supposedly co-authored by his wife, although we have our doubts — famously blames “radical feminists” for shaming women who decide to raise their children full-time instead of pursuing a career. “All I’m saying is both decisions should be applauded and affirmed, based on the choice the woman wants to make,” he said in a primary debate last year. “That’s the point I made in the book.”

But Santorum has no problem calling out married women (and married men, and unmarried people of both genders) who make choices in their private sexual lives that Santorum doesn’t personally agree with. As he told the “Evangelical blog” Caffeinated Thoughts last year:

One of the things I will talk about that no President has talked about before is I think the dangers of contraception in this country, the whole sexual libertine idea. Many in the Christian faith have said, “Well, that’s okay. Contraception’s okay.”

It’s not okay because it’s a license to do things in the sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be. They’re supposed to be within marriage, they are supposed to be for purposes that are, yes, conjugal, but also [inaudible], but also procreative. That’s the perfect way that a sexual union should happen. We take any part of that out, we diminish the act. And if you can take one part out that’s not for purposes of procreation, that’s not one of the reasons, then you diminish this very special bond between men and women, so why can’t you take other parts of that out? And all of a sudden, it becomes deconstructed to the point where it’s simply pleasure. And that’s certainly a part of it — and it’s an important part of it, don’t get me wrong — but there’s a lot of things we do for pleasure, and this is special, and it needs to be seen as special.

Again, I know most Presidents don’t talk about those things, and maybe people don’t want us to talk about those things, but I think it’s important that you are who you are. I’m not running for preacher. I’m not running for pastor, but these are important public policy issues. These how profound impact on the health of our society.

In a nutshell, Rick Santorum is promising to use the platform of the presidency of the United States to tell people who use contraception that they’re wrong, because they’re not treating sex the way it’s “supposed to be” treated, according to the personal religious beliefs of Rick Santorum…

Eat shit and die, Rick, you christian asswipe. Fuck you and your goddamn religion.

      I second that, wholeheartedly.

    • SF2K01

Yeah take that Ron Paul! Oh wait, nvm, it’s ok when he pushes the christian agenda, sorry Santorum, the people won’t ignore your shortcomings.

Pleasurable and fulfilling are not words to describe what I’m assuming Rick Santorum believes to be sex. Parts of a bland Amero-Christian whole… Which somehow take a back seat to him at least half way birthing offspring; when it’s convenient.

I know plenty of girls who use birth control as their only means of protection. It doesn’t seem to me people use secondary protection to prevent diseases, since the only thing they were ever really worried about was pregnancy in the first place. Personally, I think altering the functions of your body to prevent another bodily function is just unnatural. Women piss out all the extra hormone into the water supplies, and it’s NOT filtered out. We cook, clean, shower and drink hormone piss water. Gross.

    • Malone

Actually I think women’s piss is pretty fucking hot.

      • Calypso_1

        usually about 37.0 C

    • KittyDelAmour

You know a lot of nasty sluts. Serious.

    • Eric_D_Read

I had always heard the problem with birth control hormones in the water was due to women flushing pills they didn’t take.

  • discusthrower

Santorum is the incarnate of Morel Orel….

  • Carnalus

interesting how these so called “culture warriors” seem to worry about nothing else much except what others do in their private lives. Mentally ill squirt this “santorum” thing is. Lousy fuck most likely…

  • KittyDelAmour

Don’t fucking tell me how to sex, you nasty douche. I’ll sex any old way I want to, with anyone I want to, and you can’t do a damn thing about it!

  • Simiantongue

    “the whole sexual libertine idea”

An assumption that if one uses contraception you are void of moral restraints. I see nothing to warrant that assumption. On the contrary almost every study I’ve ever read points to the fact that contraception is a damn good idea.

He just makes the automatic assumption that his religions morals are “THE” standard by which we should all be living, and that he has the right to impress those standards on everyone else. Just so damn unsufferably conceited.

    • marklar_primus

It seems to be a widespread idea in the christian world that morality is dependent upon punishment. This is most likely derived from the idea that we NEED the threat of hell to keep us moral. So basically the christian idea of morality is really a fear based behavior. It makes me think sometimes that without religion these people would be child molesting murdering scum bags 24/7 and this is why they can’t understand good people without God. Thank god religion keeps such scumbags in check. Now if they would only leave the rest of us alone instead of trying to impose their fear based morality on the rest of us.

  • Jim

Rick Santorum should Fuck himself with his face!

why can’t this mother fucker die a horrible death all ready!

[...] Peter Brown observes that 1 Corinthians 7 is “the one chapter that determine all Christian thought on marriage and celibacy [...] I think Saint Paul is a higher authority than Rick Santorum, in what concerns to marital relations; and he clearly states that marriage is the lesser of two evils, and that sex was better avoided, for it could corrupt the soul. What Rick Santorum is saying by omission, is that marriage is a licence to make anything sexually, as long as no contraceptive means are employed. As a christian, I can only ask you to read the letters to the Corinthians before deciding that Santorum represents our faith.

  • Bobsander

What a stupid cunt. Feel free to delete my angry retort to this no-fascist no head. Your wife and daughter look miserable Rick, no surprises there…and let me guess, you have a young boy hidden away somewhere for hidden sexual mores. twat!

  • rtb61

”Important public policy issues” that doesn’t mean telling people they are wrong, that means striving to achieve legislation to criminalise anything he personally disagrees with. This has nothing at all to do with religion, this is all about personal ego, nothing to do with obeying Gods commandments and everything to do with obeying Rick Santorums commandments, the 21st century “Son of God”
The Catholic Church is simply the masquerade for the Church of Rick Santorum, don’t forget a lot of what Santorum preaches is pretty much the direct opposite of what is attributed to Jesus Christ.

  • doosh

Something tells me that Rick Santorum’sex life isn’t so “special.”

  • BrianApocalypse

    Rick Santorum is a cunt.

  • Ostermascot

I think that it is immoral to let any old dipshit in the trailer park pop out babies like a bloody pez dispenser!  If you are too stupid to educate yourself past a 9-5 at McDonalds and living in sub-standard conditions, then you are just too stupid to procreate.  There is no “God” and if there was it wouldn’t want the world overrun with cornstarch guzzling, inbred, half-wits.  In the words of Bill Hicks, “conception is not a miracle, anyone can do that.  A miracle is having a child who’s well behaved enough to shut the f$#k up during a movie in a theater.”  I assume if Mr. Santorum suggest to outlaw contraceptives, then he also plans on destroying our military budget in order to place the funds back into our ever-failing academic system so as not to perpetuate this “stupidity” epidemic.  Or would that be too “Unamerican”?  He is both a giant douche AND a turd sandwich.

  • Spanky

Im soooo glad this asshole is out there… He exposes all the
ignorance for what it is and his followers as well… I would rather him take the
GOP lead and get shot down come November…

My second thought is, the GOP is not serious about winning
ex McCain/PALIN really? And now we have Romney, Santorum, Gingrich… that’s the
best they can do? Im not anti or pro Obama but, if the GOP were really serious about
winning they wouldn’t put up this cattle Cade of misguided clowns… sometimes I think
the debates look like “The Flava of love”… what a joke…

Not that it makes any difference who gets in office, both
the Dems and the GOP both answer to the same financial masters…

This country is circling the drain and its just a matter of who
gets to ride the Turd Down…

  • DeepCough

Rick, Rick, it’s not the fucking 1950′s, it’s goddamned 2012, couldn’t you at least drum up hysteria about the Mayan Apocalypse proclaiming the Second Coming or something like that?

  • Lmnop_nis

Two words: separation of church and state. Wait…..three words. Whatever.

  • Chuck Black

I look at his publicity photo’s and wonder about Santorums stance on hair care products and dental work.

After all, he seems to be using these tools as a way to increase his physical attractiveness in order to perhaps get a little “sumthin, sumthin” on the side.

Even if that “sumthin, sumthin” is only our vote.

  • Mpkjmom

Why is it always about women.  Who are the women having sex with?  Um, I think men must be having sex too.  Why has no one conditioned the prescribing of Viagra.  If you don’t want to pay for my birth control, I’m not paying for your Viagra so you can have sex with me….

  • Lo

See, if you want to have a religion, then that’s cool! If you want to wait to have sex or only use if for reproduction because your own personal religion says to do it that way, then go for it. However, not everyone is a Christian. There are so many religions and to call America just a Christian nation would be silly. Last I checked, America is supposed to be a big mixing pot of well…everything. I mean, I feel that people should wait until they find someone that they really, really, really care about, but if you wanna go and sleep with everyone…that’s cool. Its all about respecting yourself and others. Something that the Bible tells us…or something like that, right? Eh? Heck, there was one pastor that was going to have sex with his wife for 24 hours on the roof to show that its okay to have sex within your marriage!
