Conservative eBooks To Indoctrinate Your Children

How do you instill the next generation with pro-America values in the digital age? One of the hottest items from last month’s CPAC conference was the line of eBooks from Cherry Tree Media (ironically named for the famous story concerning George Washington, which is itself a falsehood designed to instill patriotic pride). Available for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, the cartoon-based series teaches kids the merits of capitalism, military interventions, et cetera. Via Politico:

    What? No children’s story versions of classics like Mein Kampf? If the stories are as bad as their white papers, I see smashed Kindles in the futures of parents.

    We need to go back to the real books I learned from in the early ’70′s. The kids’ books, TV and even the school books are now are so loaded with liberal ideology it’s horrible.  My wife and I and several others had to start a homeschooling program with our church and it is going very well. Even though most of us had to get night jobs, it is well worth the extra work!

      But aren’t you afraid that a logical conclusion of such an intensely inward-looking focus might lead to incest at some point?  That would ultimately lead to a weakening of the Master Race.  Just look at the Habsburgs.

      Of course rape might be a viable option to foster the minimal required genetic diversity–if you can find a suitable vassal race.

    It’s sad that parents would prefer a kid to mindlessly inherit their party affiliation than to actually learn to think on his/her own.

    The money tree one is especially bizarre.  The more people value those chits, the better off the issuers are.  Another odd one in this vein: Spiderman.  Peter Parker defends the banks while only doing righteous menial labour to earn a pittance.

    This is ridiculous. Patriotism and capitalism are bad things? Outrageous. This is exactly what is wrong with you liberals. Being proud of the greatest country in the world and using the best and most fair economic system is bad to you. You really should just change the name of the democrat party to the socialist or communist party.

    Teaching children to love America and about the best economic system is not indoctrination.
