A TSA Official Admits Billion-Dollar-Body Scanner Program is Worthless (Video)

Homeland SecurityVia TSA Out of Our Pants!:

My last video demonstrated how easy it is to take a metal object through TSA nude body scanners undetected.

In this video, I interviewed an actual TSA screener to hear more about how these machines are an epic fail. “Jennifer,” who asked me not to use her real name or face, has been on the front lines of the TSA’s checkpoints for the last 4 years.

Please share this video with your family, friends, and most importantly, elected officials in federal government. Make sure they understand that your vote is contingent on them fixing the abuse that 200,000 passengers face from the TSA on a daily basis. If you are (or know) a TSA screener who has seen abuse in the TSA, please contact me!

Perhaps we could reduce costs by privatizing airport security like Canada has.

    • Redacted

I’m not sure how privatizing something is supposed to save money. Maybe if we wanted to spend even more for a somehow even worse service.

Capitalism baby. They will murder you for a nickel and smile doing it.

      • Seamus Dubh

Ya, but you can sue and fire private companies that fail to do and a piss poor job.
        Unlike government entities.

        • Redacted

At least the Government does a piss poor job cheaply. Private sector will do a piss poor job for as much as they can rob you for.

          • WeAreChangeAtlanta

Not if you have competition.  There is no competition for the TSA because of government mandates only.  People could effectively sue and have arrested any individual who was illegally groping passengers.  Any agency which allowed groping would be sued out of business and would need to bail it’s staff out as long as people and the police followed the rule of law that is.

          • Redacted

The Market has failed. There is no competition, only collusion.

The Division of Labour has occured, and Marx was right.

          • Sterling Conway-Jones

Governments, as monopoly providers have no incentive to be efficient, and therefore never are.  Security companies competing to offer the best and safest service are the best way to get the treatment we deserve as passengers.  And, incidentally, it is precisely the profit motive which drives down prices as people compete to offer the best and cheapest service.  If a company is charging more than they should another company will come along offering a better deal in a free market, and we all get cheaper, and often better products to choose from in the end.

            Abolish the TSA.

        • rtb61

All of this was driven by a private corporations wanting to sell nude scanners for enormous profit. The whole insane program set up via lobbyists and corrupt politicians at the behest of one ‘private’ corporation.
The only thing private would arrange is for profit weekends for perverts to sexually molest passengers men, women and children.

    • mysophobe

Er, since 2004 every major US airport has had the option of contracting with a private company to implement the TSA screening guidelines. Currently 16 US airports do just that. Also to alleviate some confusion, not one US commercial airport is federally owned. These are private entities or local governments doing business with their choice of either a private entity or the TSA directly. About as free market as you can get on that end, unless you’re saying that each airport should be free to establish their own air safety rules. I suppose in that case federal dollars would be cut off for those who don’t comply with federal rules, much like federal highway safety guidelines.

  • Haystack

Um…You can still pretty much see her face. I would definitely recognize her if she were one of my coworkers.

    • WeAreChangeAtlanta

They already fired her.  Thank you “Jennifer” for speaking out and for TSAOutOfOurPants! For sharing this information.

    • Snappper

Hi, I comment without watching the video. I’m a stupid person.

      • Haystack

        And ugly, too.

    • The Secrets

I thought the exact same thing and I did watch the video. Even I would recognize her now if I saw her. It’s laughable.

  • WeAreChangeAtlanta

Michael Chertoff the dual citizen DHS head makes billions of of this bullshit.  “Coincidentally” his cousin ran Popular Mechanics when they put out their laughable hit piece on 9/11 truth.  You can’t make This stuff up either….

    • Oddysey_41

actually dickfor 911 was an inside job and you truely are a fool for not seeing so, jet fuel doesnt burn hot enough to turn steel to molten metal which is what they found at the bottom of the debris molten metal”weeks” after the attack, explain that smart guy and the traces of thermite that were found, do some real research dont rely on your fake cable news.

      • Harlemdontknow

your stupidity is actually funny… it’s idiots like you that give Americans a bad name. Your an absolute idiot and you were never at ground zero, you don’t know the melting point of steel, you don’t know anything about thermite, and most of all you have some nerve to pin the deaths of 1000’s on a conspiracy theory. You’re and embarrassment to yourself and others. It’s actually sad that 1000’s of American soldiers have died to protect pieces of ignorant garbage like yourself.

        • Hayabusa_1

Your ignorance is actually scary. It’s a look into the mind of the average American’s psyche. It’s very disturbing.

American soldiers have not died because they are protecting us. They died promoting an agenda, one the American people DO NOT approve of! Our military is hijacked and it took a lot more than box cutters to do so.

It’s a shame you even have one like.

          I guess harlemdontknowshit.

      • Watson

Who are you talking to? What your saying has been common sense where I come from. There must be a lot of stupid people in Amerika. Sad really.

  • NotTheHulk

I find it really difficult to take a guy with green hair seriously.

    • Isaac Francisco

Masks his identity.  He’s really a caring, level-headed, concerned citizen.

    • berton

I’ll take him over some anonymous “commentor”.

Some people do, everyone else comments.

    • Jake D

At least I now know my monitor sux, I thought his hair was blue!

  • blaaaaaaaaaaah

Who else thinks the guys in the caves won?  Frankly, I think we should stream hoarders and the biggest loser to the infidels to show them how miserable we really are already maybe they get some sympathy for America and leave us alone?

  • Oddysey_41

our govt screwing us and lieng to us no never saw that coming, wake up people.

  • berton

…aaaaaaand that’s why we dont’ fly through the States anymore.  The crap you have to put up with in those airports….  what a frightened, scared group of people, wow.

  • http://buzzcoastin.posterous.com BuzzCoastin

the scanners were never about security
they are about the intimidation of wee the sheeple
and about profits for the “private” sector businesses
that get welfare payments from Uncle Homey

  • ExtrapolateThis

I have gotten joints, pills, knives, flammable liquids, lighters, wireless detonators (for fireworks), screwdrivers, prying tools, matches, high voltage power supplies and burning lasers by the TSA’s security and their stupid body scanners. You people who think you are safe are fucking retarded. Anyone with 7 brain cells can take down a plane or kill hundreds or thousands of people. For fuck sake, I can sit in the exit row and open the door at 37,000 feet and it will kill at least some people. Maybe even cause the plane to crash, or allow me to take over the plane if I had the will to do so. I cannot fathom the stupidity one must possess in order to believe in the TSA or the whole official story of 9/11 for that matter. How can you be so blind, how!!??

Now i’m going to go smoke a joint, I need to calm my nerves after this little rant. If any of you are wondering why I must partake in the herb. It’s because I need drugs to knock me down to the average persons level. It’s the only way I can communicate with the army of idiots that make up the brunt of the american populace.

Good job TSAOutOfOurPants for coming out with this information!
