Russia Developing A Zombie Ray Gun

Via the Herald Sun:

While many believed it to be an April Fool’s Day joke, Vladimir Putin has confirmed Russia has been testing mind-bending psychotronic guns that can effectively turn people into zombies. The futuristic weapons — which attack their victims’ central nervous system — are being developed by scientists and could be used against Russia’s enemies and even its own dissidents by the end of the decade.

Mr Putin has described the guns, which use electromagnetic radiation like that found in microwave ovens, as entirely new instruments for achieving political and strategic goals.

Plans to introduce the super-weapons were announced by Russian defence minister Anatoly Serdyukov. While the technology has been around for some time, Mr Tsyganok said the guns were recently tested for crowd control purposes. “When it was used for dispersing a crowd and it was focused on a man, his body temperature went up immediately as if he was thrown into a hot frying pan,” Mr Tsyganok said.

uh…. what is described, for one, is nothing to do with “zombies”… as it is basically a focused microwave that speeds the molecules just below the skins surface, making it unbearable for anyone in its focus….. and two….. the united states very definitely already has this device…. come on.

  3. Few people know that the prototype for this was daytime American television.

This is super old news. Last year, right here on Disinfo, this exact thing was discussed and has already been used for crowd control. Also, there is absolutely nothing zombie like about this device. It makes the molecules of water in your skin vibrate which produces heat and you have no choice but to disperse. It certainly does not make the dead rise from their graves and start chowing down on brains or anything.

How would you classify this type of info and where can I get more?  I’ve got a seemingly crazy neighbor who waves little mirrors and laser pens around just about all day and every day to “fend off” people who are apparently attacking him with microwave signals.

Anyone know anything about this type of stuff?

Maybe he’s not crazy after all…
