Invasion’s “Follow the Smoke/Conjure War” Awash in Occult Imagery

How much occult imagery can be squeezed into one short rock video? The answer? A lot. Check out the very definitely NSFW video “Follow the Smoke/Conjure War” from psych metal band Invasion, and see how many of the clips in the video you can match to their sources.

  1. Alright… which staff member at disinfo needed hits for their bands youtube page? LOL
My dog vomited during the video… is that a sign of something?

    • Ha ha! I wish! I have zero musical talent!  Can’t say I’m a huge fan of the song. I just thought the video was a neat little montage that would amuse readers.

  2. I love how people really think that occult symbolism has real power. It shows how out of touch with reality some folks are.

    rosemary’s baby

all in all a rather christian attempt at making occult sinister.

Lol I thought jayz was bad enough personall I think these guys are doing the same thing as jayz does.. Namely they know that as soon as any cOnspiracy theorist idiot sees it and makes a big stink a bunch more will watch it and they will get some exposure they’d never have gotten off the strength of their musical talent. Or lack thereof

All that’s missing is a clip of Bush and Blair to make it a 10/10 on the evil-o-meter…

I really liked the song…decent work on putting together all of the clips…I would recommend listening to their other songs, it is just guitar and drums w a killer singer.  They don’t seem to be active anymore which is a shame.  This song is 3 years old.

  9. Fun game with the occult imagery. Tune works for me, she’s got a very unearthly sort of edge to her voice hasn’t she? Lots of note counts of 2s and 3s in groups of 5…. pretty lol.
