TSA Places Baby On No-Fly List, Orders Family Off Airplane

Seriously? (And what’s been going on with JetBlue flights lately?) Reports Ari Hait on WPBF 25 West Palm Beach:

Eighteen-month-old Riyanna has been called a lot of things: cute, adorable and now … a suspected terrorist.

She was called that on Tuesday night at the Ft Lauderdale Airport. She and her parents had just boarded a JetBlue flight when an airline employee approached them and asked them to get off the plane, saying representatives from the Transportation Security Administration wanted to speak to them.

“And I said, ‘For what?'” Riyanna’s mother told only WPBF 25 News on Wednesday. “And he said, ‘Well, it’s not you or your husband. Your daughter was flagged as no fly.’ I said, ‘Excuse me?'”

Riyanna’s father was flabbergasted. “It’s absurd,” he said. “It made no sense. Why would an 18-month-old child be on a no-fly list?”

  1. It’s pathetic how blatantly they’re allowed to control our lives. We need to design our own personal flying machines independently and say “Fuck you!” to the laws associated with controlling populations, then fly away. Corporations and government can’t be trusted to allow or even encourage that ability.

There are some scientist at MIT working on this as we speak. Here is the link to the video:

      • Bah, even if that becomes a affordable alternative, it’ll most likely be highly controlled and monitored, but it will most likely be like airplanes are now, cost an arm and a leg, and be mostly for recreational purposes. The closest I’ve seen was a $15,000 DIY ultralight aircraft kit.

  2. This is getting wayy out of control…a baby being called a “suspected terrorist”??? what the FUCK!!

I am no fan of the TSA, but this was JetBlue’s screw up and in this case the TSA came over and cleared the toddler.
