Are any disinfonauts on the ground in Chicago at the NATO protests? This report from CNN suggests that Black Bloc members are “domestic terrorists”:

Two more suspects have been charged in connection with an alleged terror plot in Chicago during the NATO summit, bringing the total to five, prosecutors said Sunday.

Authorities previously charged three men, saying they planned to target President Barack Obama’s campaign headquarters, the home of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and several other law enforcement and financial sites.

Sebastian Senakiewicz, 24, of Chicago, is charged with falsely making a terrorist threat, the Illinois state’s attorney’s office said in a statement Sunday. Mark Neiweem, 28, also believed to be from Chicago, is charged with attempted possession of explosives or incendiary devices.

It was not immediately known whether the two have an attorney. They were scheduled to appear in court Sunday.

A lawyer representing the other three men charged in the alleged plot has called the accusations against them “propagnda” and said authoriteis “infiltrated” a peaceful group and set up the three.

A police probe that began early this month revealed the three suspects are “self-proclaimed anarchists” and members of the “Black Bloc” group who traveled together from Florida to Chicago to commit violence as a protest against the NATO summit, authorities said in a statement…

Probably just another excuse to have the Chicago PD outfitted like the military, and another story giving a ‘reason’ for people to fear a group that threatens the Aristocrats’ authority and influence over their lives.

dont know if any one has sen the photos of the “explosive material” its beer brewin equipment I saw it on news8 houston tx an abc affilate

  3. Black Bloc “members”??  Since when did the tactic that is the black bloc become a club that one could be a member of?  Christ, this is about as dumb as when the media starts talking about what Anonymous believes in.

    •  The Black Bloc is seen a lot in Canada too and let me tell you, the group reeks of police infiltration. They were burning cop cars at G20 in Toronto and at first the riot police were quick to converge but they were then ordered to stand down. One unmasked troublemaker in black in one particular incident was seen disappearing behind police lines before the police moved in.

      •  The poor all in brand new clothing, pants, jackets, hoods, gloves, boots, which they all could afford to throw away as they co-ordinated a quick change while they were screened by their other members, so no one could see where the ended up, all well co-ordinated. So no police near them and the next day an order to take back the streets at all costs, so more than a thousand arrest and extreme police brutality, oh yeah, that wasn’t a set up from the get go.

I had heard on the news that some of those accused claimed they were only making beer.

    •  From Canada caltrops, molotov cocktails and buckets of urine as reported by the police and spread by the police chief at a public conference, mysteriously turned into old concrete reinforcement chairs, empty soft drink bottles and a typical fuel container for a lawn mower and a bucket under a kitchen sink so the waste water could be tipped into the garden (they were environmentalists).
Zero apologise from the police chief for the public slander, nothing done about the false arrest and accusations and all business as usual.
They are meant to uphold law, order and justice but they don’t give a crap about that, they just spread lies and abuse at the request of their masters.

    Conversation went something like this:
Terrorist: Looks like you ran out of gas in the right place – I just got home from playing flag football, and I have a full 5 gallon can I keep for my yard tools and toys in the garage, just filled it at BP.
Infiltraitor: Great! the worst crap always happens too me…
Terrorist:  Bummer dude – have a beer before you go, brewed it myself –  it sure is hot out, and hey man, life aint that bad. besides.
      (a short time later)
Terrorist:  wow, you brew your own beer? this stuff is good, can I have another?
Terrorist: It’s all I drink – my dad used to brew his own too. Sure, and put that empty by the others.  What do you think about this NATO thing in town?  Crazy all the cops and spooks running around.
Infiltraitor: theres a even video of a cop getting hit with a fire bomb at a protest in Greece. Those protests get crazy.
Terrorist: Yeah they do. It’s not like the politicians listen to or represent us anyway, except maybe for Ron Paul.
Infiltraitor: Ron Paul?!  I bet you think there was election fraud in Florida, or 9/11 was a inside job.  Terrorist: Worse than that – how about the building across the street from the incident in Oklahoma City not even having a window blown out? Or the first pictures of the pentagon after the so-called jet airliner hi ti. That’s what’s really crazy.
Infiltraitor:  Even more suspicious is how the FBI is always finding ways to say everyone is a terrorist. EVERYone…  Thank god for the FBI being involved in everything.

    Sure is suspicious.

  8. We all new the time was coming when our law enforcement would turn the carte blanche terrorist card on its own citizens. Now it’s here and V for Vendetta will become real for Americans too.

I’ve never seen so many cops dressed like storm troopers. I was cracked in
the back / no warning just a crack and the cop kept going. It was peaceful while
the veterans tossed the medals back in the direction of NATO. A few blocks away
was as close as anyone could get. After the vets the CPD and black bloc had it
out. Black Bloc didn’t stand down… blood and arrests. Night in front of the ladies of NATO dinner. Huge chunks of Chicago out of
operation but not due to protesters. HUGE $$$ spent on overtime for cops. Today
@ Boeing HQ. News playing it up as violent and good police work. Reality
non-violent for the most part thanks to local organizers knowing violence will
not help, and protesters massively outgunned. No sound cannons or tear gas as of
last night.  Video and photos still on the phone.

Just like when we were sometimes outnumbered by the FBI spooks at anti-war demonstrations.  Ah, the good old days.

Call me biased, but I have concluded that these guys had empty beer bottles because they were collecting them for recycling to clean up the town.  Then they were going to use that money to give to the homeless (who are vicitms of the 1% facist pigs) as well as local orphanages.  Any remaining bottles that were found with gasoline and rags stuffed in the top were obviously going to be used to give to the homeless to light on cold nights to keep themselves warm.  You can boot stomp my head, you can even force me to lick the boot.  You cannot, however, force me to accept your “evidence.”  I have a feeling that the comming revolution that reforms the nation will have started here on this site.  Call me sentimental, but I think hisotry should record these men as heroes.

  12. Well, they are right according to one of the many definitions of what a terrorist is. But by another definition, the police could be seen as terrorists as well. It’s high time we retired the word “terrorist” for something less vague. The fact that vague terms allows them to group people from different ends of the political spectrum together means that the term isn’t going away any time soon, however.

Wish I would’ve seen this earlier, but I was on the ground every day and night from Thursday until yesterday. I can tell you that the raids which happened were due to agent provocateurs, and most of the violence on the ground over the weekend was police instigated, but responded to with some force by various protesters practicing black bloc tactics. On the whole, it could have been much worse, but I will say it definitely was bad for a lot of people – multiple instances of unprovoked and unrestrained police violence (one demonstrator was hit with a cop swinging a bike on Saturday). There were targeted arrests, lots of undercovers, and even independent journalists (myself included) were targeted by law enforcement. Some were arrested on Sunday, others were detained and questioned a night or two before, others were merely followed and surveilled. Monday night featured a march led by undercover cops wearing masks dressed as protesters. It has been a very surreal few days in Chicago.
